Salvationarmy saved my life. I encourage anyone who is struggling with addiction to come here and learn to live the life you deserve.

The Fort Worth Arc as helped me get my life on track and gave me a chance on a job after I completed the program. It is a safe environment where I continue to grow in my recovery. I owe everything to the Salvation Army and hope that I can help people find their way to a wonderful god centered life.

If i could leave no stars i would. They wouldnt take my donations because they couldnt make "enought" profit off it. I thought anything would help since it goes to help people with addictions but guess not this time.

Worse place ever. They treat you with disrespect and don't live up to their standards

It's a run down building. Got addicts running it with chips on their shoulders. One in particular, steps on the necks of his brothers. Faulty U/As. Won't even send to lab. Showed 2 lines for a pass but he didn't like that. Roger waited 6 hours so the faulty test would fade. Do not go to this one. Austin arc is great! Thankfully God has kept me sober! But just a heads up! It's a last stop place that ruins lives!!!! Oh the only thing they got going there isn't even there program! Thanks Bridges to Life! Amazing people!

Amazing place! Especially if you want a faith-based treatment facility. Other places are only 28 days. It took me longer than 28 days to come out of my mental fog. Lucky for me, this place was more long-term and helped me get away from my bad influences long enough to recover. I don't care what others have said, this place (in addition to my 12-step program) saved my life. I now have 12 years clean and sober and going strong. God is good!

The director of the facility is homophobic and terrible at his job. I was very much under the impression that they were in the interest of helping people in need of recovering from addiction, and sadly, thats not the case. They pick and choose who they'll allow into their program (which is much more intense than a federal prison) ... i would discourage anyone with interest in this program , as I believe it will not help to get you on the right path.

Absolutely disrespectful people that run the rehab facility. And to top it off made fun of me and my husband's appearance? The things that go on inside of this place and they want to disrespect me? So basically if you want to get made fun of then this is the place for you.

All their clothes is ruined because they staple through the clothing instead of the brand tag. Found a couple dresses that were cute but the staples would have left holes in the FRONT where they'd be noticeable. They need to invest in a tagging gun or learn how to staple like mccart thrift where they aren't destroying the few nice things they have. They're also overpriced and don't know brands 14.99 on a forever 21 dress are you kidding me?

I don't have to much to go on for a review, as I was just dropping stuff off. But as far as getting rid of stuff, it was super easy. A family member has a lot of stuff he doesn't want or need, but needed the space, so we loaded up the truck and headed to the Salvation Army. This was essentially the closest collection place (of any type), to the stuff, that we could think of. We had some books, baby toys, a TV cabinet, a (tube) TV and some other stuff. Pulled around to the side and a man there helped us unload. They took everything except the tube TV. That thing came home and will go to the curb. A receipt was offered, for tax purposes (deduction). Bottom line: Felt good to get rid some stuff in a way that may help others.
