I generally have great experiences at Spec's, and I shop there almost exclusively because of the excellent selection, organized inventory, and the veteran's discount. However, the last couple of times I have visited the Arlington, TX Eastchase location it has been well below standard. What has characterized these unsatisfactory experiences have been the lack of professionalism and rudeness by some of the employees, especially the cashiers (the floating employees continue to be awesome). There are many cashiers standing around behind the counter cutting up and chatting with each other with seemingly little interest in assisting customers with their purchases. Please do better, Spec's.

Prices are okay, but I prefer Total Wine because the staff there seems much more knowledgeable. Some of the larger Specs have some epicurean foods. This is one, but the selection here is small and I don’t think most of the locals in this area care to buy that stuff. So check the expiration dates before you buy.

This store is great, the employees and vendors are always helpful, but yesterday I found my favorite GF beer on the clearance table!!! Glutenberg is by far the best tasting GF beer I've had PERIOD... sad to see it go...
