Stage West Theatre is one of Fort Worth’s oldest live professional theatres, producing award-winning contemporary and classic plays year round. It offers a full service cafe, classes, community events, and rental space. Recent productions like *Fat Ham* featured a terrific cast, great writing, and an uplifting story. A Sherlock Holmes show presented a huge set creating the feel of 19th century London, with actors displaying well-developed accents and delighting characters. The comedy was laugh out loud funny with tight timing and physical comedy that was a hoot. The theatre consistently produces thought-provoking shows with top notch actors and Broadway-level productions in a wonderful atmosphere.
I always enjoy seeing a play at Stage West. It is just the right size and the seats are very comfortable. The actors are first class and the sets are intricate and wonderful. I saw Sherlock Holmes: The Ghost Machine and was thrilled at the play outcome.

Been attending performances for almost 25 years. Three locations. The quality has remained the same. The venue has grown to include an amazing cafe.
