It was my first tattoo and I had a great experience there!! Love all the welcoming employees, they're super friendly. I will always choose to go back there for another tattoo or piercing too!!

Frustrated with my ear piercing experience here. After waiting 8+ weeks my piercings still hurt bad and I was worried about them, so I didn't remove them.
I texted Stevi the piercer, she said she was busy and would call that night. No problem. I wait - no call. 2 days later I text again asking for help. I wait longer - no response.
About 2 weeks later I had an issue where one got hooked on something and bled a lot, so I struggled to take them out to be able to clean them. I had no idea how to get them out, but after 2 hours I finally did.
She at least responded then and told me to go to another place, but I don't know that place or what they'd charge.
I can't help but feel if I was helped in the first place when I was worried, I'd have a stud I knew how to take out in, and this wouldn't be a problem. Service was good when I went, but this experience sucked.

be aware if you get pierced here: they only have one piercer, and unfortunately what i have seen is that she is not very responsive or caring for questions or aftercare afterwards. since she is their only piercer, they do not have anyone available to help in the event that she is unavailable or even just plain ghosts you. i would recommend anyone use caution if they want to get a piercing here.
the tattoo artists i spoke to were very nice, however.

I got a tattoo here from Viv a few months ago and it's amazing! Went to her after seeing she had done a few bats in the past and I'm really glad I did! I came in initially for an in-person quote and she was really clear with size of the tattoo, price and design. Shop was super clean and organized, with a nice seating area if you're coming with someone, along with cool water if you need it. Incredibly friendly shop with even friendlier staff who are amazing at what they do. My bat healed amazingly and I'm definitely coming back in the future.

Sick shop, I had an excellent experience with Ares! I got a custom piece, 100% happy with how everything came out. Would be there every other week if I lived closer.

I've been going here for a few years and have had work done by three different artists and was very happy with my tattoos!
Every experience has been exceptional. Everyone is super friendly and it is VERY clean. I highly recommend Heavy Metal Tattoo.

I've been here twice and I've never had a negative experience. The shop is extremely clean and every artist is extremely talented. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and chill. I constantly recommend this shop to everyone that's looking for a good place to get tatted.

Heavy Metal is like family. I’ve been four times so far, tattooed twice and pierced twice. Every experience was amazing. They’re very chill people. Evan is super awesome, so is Stevi, she’s the BEST.

Cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in. Met Evan and Jon and talked to both the entire time I was there. Although I currently live 600 miles away Evan and Heavy Metal will be the only person and place that I get ink. Evan is a fantastic artist, super cool with changes and gives you an experience, truly a great guy!! If you want a new addition or your first tattoo please call Evan or Heavy Metal out first!

Huge shout out to Evan from Heavy Metal Tattoo! Not only did he do my Tattoo in record time, but it was completely painless, and it turned out perfect.I highly recommend visiting the shop and requesting Evan. He truly cares about the comfort of his customers. 5 stars!
