The Ashton Hotel in Fort Worth has quickly become one of our top choices for afternoon tea. Their scones are absolutely worth the visit, and I can't get enough of their delicious butternut squash soup - it's now a personal favorite. We had the pleasure of trying their Winter Menu, which showcases their commitment to seasonal freshness. Staying overnight was a treat. The room exceeded our expectations in size, and the bathroom even boasted both a shower and a separate tub. The hotel's location is superb, with a lively dueling piano bar just around the corner and a charming coffee shop mere steps away. Additionally, there's a great selection of fantastic restaurants within walking distance, and the historic architecture adds to the vibe, transporting you to a different era right in the heart of Texas.

The afternoon tea is disappointing. They didn’t even have milk for the tea. Also had a “banquet fee” and automatic 26% gratuity for subpar service.

Cool hotel but no one could figure out how to turn off the friggin wake up call that came every morning at 6 am and again at 6:30 am. No one. So much for relaxing, romantic get away we had saved credit card points 3 years for.

This review is for the tea room at the Ashton in Fort Worth. My husband and I took the in-laws to the tea room for an afternoon tea experience. The food left a lot to be desired. The finger sandwiches were not fresh, and they were prepared on stale bread. The desert bites tasted like desert trays from an average grocery store. Also, the tea selection is limited; there’s no green tea and no tea pairing option. Finally, there were no mention of banquet fee on top of the $65 per person, for total of $354 for 4. Just last week I paid the same money to have dinner at Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas and had a great delicious meal. Let’s just say we walked away with a negative experience.

There weren't many people on staff during the evening and night hours. For instance, I went out for something to eat and came back, and no one was at the front desk or in the lobby at all. Not that downtown Fort Worth is bad, but anyone off the street could have gone up in the elevators and mingled about the hotel.

Completely disgusted and furious at the recent service from Ashton Hotel. Our company made a reservation at Ashton Hotel for Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9th for an important guest and his wife visiting us from Houston. Upon checking in on Friday, December 8th he was told that his reservation for for Saturday, December 9th WOULD NOT be honored and they would make him Check Out and move him and his wife to the nearby Hilton. Upon hearing this disappointing news he texted me but it was already late in the evening and I didn't see the text message until the next morning. When I called the Ashton the next morning Shayla (spelling?) told me that they would refund our company CC and they were paying for his stay at the nearby Hilton. This important guest texted me today (12/12) saying that his personal credit card is being charged and that Ashton is now refusing to pay the Hilton charge. This was his first time visiting Fort Worth and his first time seeing our business and meeting us. It was very important for this weekend (especially his hotel accommodations!) to be a positive experience. I could not have been more disappointed in the service from the Ashton Hotel.

Our team stayed here for a 3 day meeting and have nothing but great things to say! This cute hotel is in the perfect location for great restaurants, fun things to do and cool bars. Everything is within blocks of The Ashton, including access to an amazing workout facility included with our stay.Of course we were here to work, and from planning the meeting to suggestions on where to go, the staff at The Ashton were to notch. Tracy, our sales manager, was a prop and did an excellent job facilitating all things related to our stay and the meeting itself. She ensured that our meeting room was well stocked and prepared. Our sleeping rooms were super comfortable with lush linens and towels. Chantallie checked us in quickly, was super helpful and replied to all requests with a smile. Our AV/IT expert, Harold was very helpful and reacted to last minute requests professionally and also with a smile. It was wonderful to stay at this lovely hotel and work with a great team of professionals - I highly recommend The Ashton and especially Tracy, Chantallie, and Harold!

Underwhelmed! For a “4 star” hotel in Ft Worth, we were completely underwhelmed. Service was ok at best. When you walk into the lobby you expect to be transported back in time as this is a historic hotel. At the very least, I expected it to be nice. They have storage shelf’s in view at the checkin desk. If I pay $300 a night, I don’t want to see cleaning supplies in the lobby. The room was ok. Nothing special here. I could have been in a really old Holiday Inn for what it’s worth. Bed was not overly comfortable, bathroom underwhelmed. Just wasn’t a very nice hotel.

For a place that is over 100 years old, this hotel is nice. Located near everything downtown town, it provides close access to the convention center and many businesses. No breakfast onsite, but places within walking distance. Rooms were decent. Quiet hotel. Bed was comfortable. European style bathroom was nice. Valet parking only, so check the cost of not included with your room rate. Would recommend staying here.

I had a wonderful weekend with my now Fiancé at the Ashton Hotel the other weekend. October 21st we got engaged and thanks to the accommodations that were made, we were able to enjoy a great evening and a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and valet attentive. Highly recommend.Rooms: This was our second time staying here and room was clean and perfect like last time.Nearby activities: Fort Worth Water GardensWalkability: very close walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions.Noteworthy details: The champagne was a very nice touch to our wonderful get away.

Wonderful experience! Room was comfy, the jacuzzi tub was to die for, and our room was soo cold but cozy under the blankets! My husband and I ended up getting sick and having to rush out in the morning and I accidentally left behind my Grandma’s pearls that I wore on my wedding night (the night before). I was devastated when I realized and while the girl working the evening shift was less than helpful, the young lady working this Friday morning was the most compassionate, sweet person ever and made sure I got it back this morning. She was beyond sympathetic and I can’t thank her and the very honest housekeeping crew enough!

Had my honeymoon here <3 it was so quaint, classy and just perfect! They gave us a complimentary champagne and chocolates for the occasion. We also did the late check out for a little more so we're able to lounge in hot tub till 3pm!

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, with pillows that you can adjust to your preference (firm or soft). Location is very desirable - a few blocks from the Convention Center, and a couple blocks from Sundance Square. In-room coffee, safe, 'fridge. Staff is accommodating, and some greet you by name. Valet service available, so no parking hassles. Already planning out next stay.
