I inquired about this venue for a small daytime gathering and initially agreed with Barbie on an 11am start time, which fit my event needs well. We discussed some initial questions, I was encouraged to send the event space deposit as soon as possible, and I put down the Airbnb deposit to secure the sleeping space.
However, I was later informed that events are not permitted to begin before 2pm, and that this has always been their policy. This came as a surprise, since our earlier conversation had included a different agreement. I had to completely scrap plans and find another venue.
For anyone considering this space, be advised that your event will typically be limited between 2pm and 10pm, unless you can schedule outside the business hours of their Wing It Cafe tenant (the only available parking) and sleeping schedules of other tenants. The venue itself may suit many needs, but clear communication up front is essential for smooth planning.

Back in April this year, a buddy, his wife and I were visiting a friend at the airport. They found The Hangar Lodge and we decided to all pitch in and rent it for the night. Barbie was very informative and told us about her idea and all she did to establish this wonderful place. Definately a kind person and was willing to do everything possible to ensure we had an awesome stay! We did indeed. The rooms upstairs were beautiful. The colors and decor was well thought out. The 2 stairs leading to the 2nd floor. One was a spiral set of stairs and the other were in the hangar which would help for those who need an easier way of getting up. Both are equally accessible for us. The night was awesome and Barbies communication was not only comforting but also prompt when she wasn't taking care of business. We didn't have any issues with communication. For those who are looking to land at the airport or looking for a bed and breakfast, this is the place to go!! I will be bringing my wife with me next time and hope it is soon! The price is well worth the stay especially factoring in how much time and love she put in The Hangar Lodge. Unfortunately I lost my pictures from my old phone. The pictures on her site are exactly what we encountered.

Barbie is wonderful to work with! She met with us before-hand and was very helpful in the process. So delightful. The space is fantastic! Such a rare gem for a venue, and being able to use the main space and have the walk in feature of the home was stunning and guests loved it! Overall, a spectacular evening for our family and my son’s graduation & rite of passage event.

Barbie is an amazing host! She pushed back our checkout time which allowed us to enjoy this special airport longer. The Hangar Lodge is absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to stay here again.

Barbie is amazing! I want to say that first. This place was so unique and beautiful. I rented it for a bridal suite since I was getting married on my family land. My entire bridal party was mesmerized by the venue. Even my make up artist, photographer and hair stylist said this is the most unique place they have been to. Barbie made sure we had tables and chairs provided items for the bubbly and has a very strong HVAC system that kept us feeling great while getting ready! Thank you so much for everything and I highly recommend!!

It was different...in a good way. They have to figure out the cooling. We were there for a wedding reception, but was unbearably hot!
