To be clear before writing this review - the 1 star is STRICTLY for the PHARMACY dept.Monday 2/5/24 - My son was terribly ill, and his doctor called in antibiotics for him to start ASAP. We have had medications called into two different Walgreens locations, both on Camp Bowie in the past. The doctor's appt wasn't until 4:30, so by the time we left and the called it in, the pharmacy received the order and got it ready - it was after 6:00I called Walgreens to try to find out which pharmacy the prescription was at, but was on hold forever so I drove to the one we most frequently use. They told me it was called into this location (Camp Bowie and LVT).I rushed over as fast as I could so I could make it before the pharmacy closed and get my poor child his medicine, and I was in line at the pharmacy at 6:44. There were only two cars in front of me, but it was taking forever and I was worried they would shut the window even though I was in line well before 7:00, so I decided to park and go inside to pick it up.I walked inside at 6:52 and they already had the door pulled down as if they were closed - a door which displayed a large sign saying "Open from 9:00 - 7:00 p.m.)". I knocked and said "hello" because they were supposed to be open and I could literally hear two pharmacy techs talking to each other and blatantly ignoring me. I was almost in tears. It was a tall younger man (who clearly has no idea what it's like to have a suffering child) and woman who I didn't see.I have NEVER had a Walgreens pharmacy just decide to close early because they felt like it and I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to do that. As I was driving away (still not 7:00), I saw them pull the window shut and ignore the car that had been in front of me and waiting for more than 15 minutes. Totally unprofessional. These two technicians are clearly in the wrong industry. Working in a pharmacy where sick people getting depends solely on YOU being present during open hours and doing your job - is not for lazy people so eager to get off work that they ignore sick customers. So disappointing.

This pharmacy is worthless. I put my refills in days ago. I even spoke to someone twice. I finally was able to get someone to go pick them up and they still were not filled. I’m going to have to start using the Kroger pharmacy cause atleast my stuff would have been filled.

They always try their hardest to help me and they always try to help me get the best deal possible. They put up with almost CONSTANT complaints and other nasty comments/behavior from customers yet still greet you smiling. When it comes to pharmacies and pharmacy technicians, I think they do a wonderful job and they do everything they can, while opening the law and physicians orders. I think when some people don’t understand that it shouldn’t fall back on them after what I saw today. They definitely deserve a break.

I am writing this review for All people of color who may stop here. This was my very first and Last time walking through those doors. I was watched and profiled by some lady that acted like she was working. She then said something quick to another employee. I asked a cashier if they have had issues with people stealing, he hesitated as the other cashier nodded her head yes. I then made it Clear, I am Not a thief, I actually came to Purchase goods. What year are we in?! How long do we have to put up with this type of nonsense?! It made me very upset. Thank you Walgreens.

I was getting meds in the drive through and halfway through the transaction the girl said she'd be back in thirty minutes, put a closed sugn in the window and walked off.

Walgreens! Train your cashiers & new store managers how to over ride the register when a customer is using a paper manufacturer's coupon & cue in the correct price so that the coupon will work. The Camp Bowie store manager / employees all know how to do it.

Received a notification that my prescription was ready to pick up. Showed up through the drive thru yesterday 6/6 at 5:00. They said, it will be 25 min. I left. Today 6/7 I'm back in the drive thru. Now it's going to take 20 min. Really?!? Blamed on a glitch. So I wait. Getting annoyed.

Not sure what’s going with this location but my last 3 trips to pick up meds I have waited more than 20 minutes. This time it wasn’t ready and to come back 15-20 minutes and it would be ready so over an hour later I’m here picking it up and guess what it’s still not ready. Such poor customer service.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever visited. For nearly a year now, the pharmacy has gotten my prescription wrong every single time I visit. No matter how clearly the doctor tells them, they are never able to fill a prescription correctly. Furthermore, they never lift a finger to help or correct their mistakes. It is clear the people at this pharmacy do not care about customer service at all. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else to fill your prescriptions.

Employees & manager are not trained at this store to price match items in the store to the items in the app. Someone needs to show them how to use the phone looking tool that you use to change the store price on items to the price in the app at checkout. It can be done. Go to Walgreens further down on Camp Bowie where they are all trained & nicer to their customers. Sheesh..... ?

After going to Walgreens today I've discovered a new abbreviation for GREAT customer service. It's K.E.V.I.N or simply put Kevin the pharmacist. I was prescribed a medication that made me chronically cough. A couple days later I received a follow-up call from Kevin. At that time I mentioned my issue. He proactively called my doctor and had my prescription changed which resolved the issue. GREAT JOB...!
