Beware when purchasing from this seller. As another reviewer mentioned, they place temporary fixes on these vehicles and then sell them without properly addressing issues. I purchased a truck sight-unseen and had it shipped to New Mexico. I take partial responsibility for trusting the seller’s word that the vehicle was in “near-perfect condition,” but what I received was far from that.
Immediately after unloading, the truck began making a grinding noise. Since then, it has been in the shop. My mechanic has identified the following issues:
• Rear differential is blown
• Transfer case had engagement problems and contained a large amount of metal shavings when drained
• Engine oil leak
• Transmission fluid extremely dark
• Window regulator intermittent
• One headlight inoperable
• Dent on bedside
• Multiple dents on rear bumper
• Rear backup sensors nonfunctional
The seller suggested I take the truck to a dealership for repairs but offered no guarantee of covering the cost. I declined, as I did not want to be left responsible for expensive dealership charges. I instead had my independent mechanic perform the work.
Buyers should be aware that these vehicles are not properly inspected or serviced. I strongly recommend bringing your own mechanic to inspect and test drive any vehicle thoroughly before purchase.
Update two months after ownership and $5000 later I had to rebuild the tranny and needs new ball joints upper and lower and has two screw drilled on the roof! That leak into cabin!
