Course was excellent! From tee to green! I will say it is quite pricy! It was also quite slow. Other than that the course was solid!

Play here several times a year and love pine dunes. Course is always in great shape and not crowded. Very peaceful out there. Huge practice area, course can be challenging but you’re able to score on a lot of holes.

Not a bad course it does need some work. The greens was fast which is awesome the maintenance was decent (they was working on improving it) and the main thing is the cart path do need a lot of work. The pro shop was decent it was more on the basic side. The bar and grill area was decent size a bit dated in that area. The cart girl was great she made good drinks and a good outfit.

Great course and great place to do a boys trip. The condos were convenient, being that they were next to 18 green.

By far the best time I have ever had at a course. Lacie and Madison make it seem like you’re part of the fam. Will definitely be coming back just for the hospitality of these two!

Immaculate course conditions, great mix of challenging holes. Almost every hole rewards good shots though

Booking rooms was very easy! I have not been there yet. My two kids are playing in an American junior golf association tournament In two weeks. I think it is great. This is course Offers to host such a prestigious Junior golf tournament. Kudos to the ownership. My wife, connie maier Will be staying at the resort With my two kids who are playing in the tournament, melanie maier and Mitchell Maier. I have done some reviews of the course and it looks like it is going to be a great track for the top juniors to play. Glad to hear good reviews about the resort as well. I’m sure my family will enjoy

I’ve made two trips out here with friends and it’s been a great time. Course is generally well maintained, always see workers out, very cool layout, and it’s great east Texas scenery. It’s definitely a place for golfing, not amenities, which I prefer. Tee boxes were noticeably rough this time around, but likely due to the heavy rains for the last weeks/months. Course-wise everything else was in awesome condition.
Clubhouse and lodging aren’t the best… but if you come for the golf it’s a great time.
If you do lodging and have multiple tee times, I’d suggest bringing snacks, food for breakfast/lunch/dinner to make it easy.
Clubhouse has one chef so food will take a while for a group.

2nd time enjoying Pine Dunes for an annual guys trip. It’s like the Tobacco Road of Texas. Planning another trip with my in-laws and friends soon. Without a doubt the best kept secret in Texas golf. The drive from Dallas was shorter than expected. I have stayed at both the luxury and value accommodations and would recommend either depending on what you want from your trip. The course demands great ball striking and strategy. It will bring out your weaknesses and challenge your strengths. Every hole challenges a different part of your game. The greens roll pure (quick, but not frustratingly fast) and the bunkers have some of the best sand I have ever played. There is great natural beauty and some holes you just have take a few minutes and admire the design and the beauty of it all. The overall experience was the perfect platform for having challenging friendly competition and relaxing in natural beauty with good friends. (Thanks for the invite Ryan).

Played this weekend. For a muni, this isn’t a bad track but it could be special if it were maintained better. Bunkers were in good shape but the tee boxes were terrible and plenty of holes (like #6) had greens with dried out mud spots. Pretty poor. And definitely rip off for the price.
The amenities are terrible. Yea, yea it’s to save on costs but how about just a functional septic tank? The place legit smelled awful. We were hoping to grill outside and couldn’t because the smell was so terrible. Would definitely not advise anyone to stay overnight.
The grill and bar is horrible quality.
Invest some $ into this place and could be special. Until then hard pass.

I enjoy this course every time I play it. Over the last few years, there have been noticeable improvements made, including the bunkers and greens.
