Favorite gas station in town. Great people, shelves full, variety of selections..! ATM and clean bathrooms.. Not open 24 hrs. 6am-11pm, M-Sun.

Front of the door states the business is open 24 hours and it isn’t. Supposedly, the store opens at 5am, which is incorrect because I am at the location and it’s still closed.

Just had a absolutely horrible experience at this location, I was just rudely denied service when I entered. After entering 2 young women playing on their phones denied me entry because I wouldn't put on a mask, I politely stated to them that I don't wear a mask because of a medical condition in which their response was "we don't care its a private business" needless to say I will be looking into legal action in regards to this encounter.

We found the prices are cheaper than New Mexico prices and an employee "Grant" complemented my DAV Husband! Thank you Grant on behalf of us and DAV Auxillary unit 29,Belen,NM.

It's an older store but it is clean, warm and hospitable. Went in for coffee in the middle of the night and they had several types hot n ready. The young lady working was friendly, kind and as sweet as a peach! Thanks for the hospitality! It's SO nice to be treated like a human and not a source of income!

Stopped at Short Stop East when it was Jek's often in the past. When I came back yrs later, had to stop in. It's the perfect place for a pit stop. Restrooms are clean. Seems like most of the parking places are marked for big pickups. Plenty of room for my small car. Having filled-up in Austin, seldom bought gas there but the pump islands are usually busy so it must be priced well for Fredericksburg. I'll be back 🔙.
