Great selection. Why pay insanely high prices when you can get it for pennies on the dollar

This Goodwill store is on the small size, but I managed to find a cute summer dress and a brand new with tags beaded jacket perfect for fancy occasions. My husband found a complete book set. All of the volumes were there. I think that's pretty good for a Sunday at a small store. The cashier was friendly and helpful. He let me use his measuring tape to see if the pants I had picked up for my stepdaughter would fit. The prices in this store are higher than where I have shopped at other Goodwill stores. I don't understand Goodwill's pricing system. Overall it was a good store.

I stop in at the Goodwill store occasionally. With few exceptions, the store it clean, tidy and the staff members are friendly. The Fredericksburg, Texas store is an example of the Goodwill Mission Statement. Our MissionGoodwill® works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.

Couldn’t shop comfortably with the security confronting me about where I should leave my cart and purse while I’m trying on clothes, watching me where I put the clothes back, telling me again where to return my cart. Not coming back. Not if I’m gonna be tailed like that.

Rudest employee ever! My husband and I visited the store as they opened. Front door was unlocked and we entered the store. Employee stated that we needed to leave so she could unlock the store. We explained that the door was unlocked and that is why we entered. We had to walk out of the front door for her to “unlock” properly. Needless to say we did not re-enter the store. The staff person at this store needs customer service training. She spoke to us as if we had done something wrong.

My husband and I and my Servise dog were in the store today and we were asked if she was a service animal. To wich I replied “yes ma’am “ we have all 3 been coming here since she was a puppy. She is now 2 years old. She was rude and told us we had to leave because she was big and a German Shepard. Neither of those things are true. She is a Belgian malinoi. Which usually max out at 60 or so lbs. I know my rights and tried to show her but she said she did not want to see. We have never been treated this way. We have been coming to this store for almost 5 years now. Every single other employee has welcomed us and never given us any trouble. Even the managers have treated us w kindness. So we were kicked out today.

I regret having to give even a single star- almost as much as I regret wasting time going into this store. Most expensive Goodwill store I’ve been to in all my travels. $8-$10 for a used ball cap? $10 for a used shirt? These items are DONATED to Goodwill- they have NO MONEY INVESTED, but they want to take full advantage of customers. Staff was rude too. Would highly recommend NOT going to this location.

This location is seriously overrated, $12for a white stag shirt, $9.99 for a mismatched set of spoons and forks(8total). $4 for a picture frame 3x5(price from target a reduced price said 2.73). Markup is extremely high. All name brand shoes are 15.99 and up. This location was not for me.

An Unfriendly elderly employee made a comment to my husband and I as we were standing around her watching and waiting like most customers do during check out. She said we were "watching her like hawks" in an annoyed tone as she's scanning our items during checkout. I Didn't say anything back. I stepped back even though I'm where I should be standing on the other side of the counter. At the end, I ask if they offered military discounts as most Goodwills do. She said no but that's when the real dirtiness came out. She began to look me up and down and states that they don't offer military discounts because it's mostly tourist who come in and ruin their beautiful town. I was taken aback and looked at my husband wide eyed and couldn't even respond. We reported it the manager and he had known exactly what was going on and sent another employee to coach her immediately. Jody the manager was extremely apologetic but man Katherine W. showed the store that racism along with disdain for military folk is alive and well in Fredericksburg Texas.
