Lone Star Candy Bar is a very cute and fun candy and ice cream shop. It is a small place where visitors can find great and unique varieties of candy, including cool items like oversized gummy bears and anime themed candy. The business is known for its fresh fudge, made in-store with real butter in over 36 flavors, including unique options like jalapeño, which is very spicy. They also offer fresh roasted nuts and ice cream in the back. A popular feature is their chocolate, which covers an amazing assortment of items like bacon, fresh jalapenos, potato chips, strawberries, and dill pickles. They have regular and weird soda flavors in glass bottles, such as peanut butter & jelly. Customers can also purchase Love Locks at the shop. While some chocolates may appear to have been sitting, the in-house made items are of good quality, though perhaps a tad pricey. The sample sizes are substantial, and service is described as great and kind. It is a fun place to pop in, though it can get busy.
Visiting from Nacogdoches TX. Stopped in for a treat and had a hard time deciding between all the great flavors. Headed home with several boxes to share with family and friends. Will definitely visit on all out trips to Fredericksburg

Great varieties, but some of the chocolates look like they had been sitting there for a while. Their fudge was very good.

My husband's favorite go-to place for fudge! Lots of flavors but he prefers the dark chocolate without nuts.
