One Quilt Place is a very large, 7000 square foot quilt shop in Fredericksburg, Texas. It is a beautiful store, smartly laid out and described as a quilter’s paradise. The selection of fabrics is vast and wonderful, with a great selection of quality fabric, including an excellent selection of solid colors. They have fat quarters for every fabric and exclusive, custom designs found nowhere else, like a Texas wildflower border print. The shop features a studio classroom and a retreat center with accommodations. The staff and owner are noted for wonderful southern hospitality, with some of the friendliest and kindest people who love what they do, offering smiles, help, and even hugs. However, one reviewer felt the staff made them feel like a bother. Visitors find perfect fabrics, get new ideas, and are welcomed warmly at club meetings. Many cannot wait to return and are excited for the upcoming online store.
