Cheapest domestic beer and pool tables in town! Bruce the bartender is great. He works Thursday through Sunday.

This VFW is quaint and small but very welcoming and special. We went in on Christmas Day and the female bartender was very nice and hospitable. Shuffle board and pool were accessible and awesome! Would recommend and visit again!

Open to the public. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and the bartender keeps herself busy and at the same time, keeps your glass full! I should also mention, reasonably priced!! I'll be back forsure.

We were visiting Fredericksburg and the Nimitz Museum. Made a run to San Antonio for lunch on the river walk. on the way back my friend got very sick. We tried to get back to our B&B but luck ran out. I saw the VFW sign and knew we were good. We entered in a rush for a bathroom and everyone there were AMAZING! I advised that I was not a member but we had an emergency and everyone from the bartender to customers were very sweet. We talked about it later..you can look for a gas station, or a shop, or restaurant in your time of EXTREME need.. Or, stop at the local VFW. Real People who will never turn you away. We had no other interaction with this location other than an emergency situation so..Kudo's to America's Greatest!

Nice little place, did forget that you can smoke in a VFW. I like to stop by every VFW I come across in my travels.
