I was at this bait shop and wanted to purchase live shrimp but they’re smaller than the pinkies. I wanted to return them but she refused to return it. It’s for the red fish bait. The one of the employee was so rude. She told me not come back here anymore.

We embarked on our second fishing trip from the Bridge Bait Marina and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Although the sea was a little choppy, our captain sailed like a pro just like Gilligan and the Skipper. Thanks to his knowledge of the waters, we caught our limit pretty quickly, and then headed out to deeper waters for Red Snapper. Upon returning to the docks, the good folks there cleaned and packaged our fish in a flash!

Called ahead, had to wait for the boat, no problem! Bait was excellent, as expected. I highly recommend them.

Best bait and beer shop in Surfside. They have a lot of fishing accessories.

The lot is Gravel that gets all in your boat and can scratch up your gelcoat , uneven ramp that has holes in it. No lighting at all so if you leave in the dark it’s hard to see. Customer service lacking as well.

Cool place to chill, have a beer or beverage and watch the boats pass by. Great little hang out.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to "The Karen" employee that came out and scolded me, saying that I could not be on the Intracoastal waterway under sail. I was launching my 20' shoal draft sail boat with the plan to sail North about 40 mi. to Galveston. I've been sailing various parts of the ICW for over 30 years. Needless to say, I blew her off and cast off anyway. It was an awesome place from which to launch for a two day sail, fish, and camp. Had a blast!

The sea birds here were hilarious! One of them gave me a surprising greeting as she lightly pecked on my hand. ? I love the live bait area. That was a treat to observe, also. Funniest part about the whole thing was that my goofy hubby was trying to feed a sea bird and fell off his chair... his chair literally fell off from it's post and I guess it just wasn't nailed down. ??♀️ He's OKAY. We both got a kick out of it. One of the workers there ran to get him a bandage and nursed him. She was very sweet. This place is awesome and it blessed me with a great sense of peace. The regulars were very kind as well. Very inviting...

Man I love going to this place when I go down to the Clute/Freeport are to visit my son who works for Oilfield Outkasts fishing charters. Always good cold beer and at a descent price. Love the fact you are right on the water. Some charter companies pick up and drop off their customers from Bridge Bait which is a blast to see the daily catch be displayed upon the charter trips return. Just a great atmosphere and great staff!

Nice little place right under the bridge. There are spots to sit and drink or eat on the water, and the front part has snacks and drinks as well. Plenty of bait options. If you do go sit out on the water you can see the pelicans sitting on the pier. Plus you have to love a place that has shop cats behind the counter.
