I give the pharmacy technician 5 stars for giving gentle vaccinations?. The store was clean as usual, and shelves were well stocked. Id called the day before to make sure they were still giving vaccinations and the lady clued me in on the best time. Ok, ok its only times also as they close for lunch 1-2. They administer vaccines from 10-1 and 2-close. The Technician went over which was available to me and explained any possible side effects for each of them . I received 1 in each arm with no side effects in my part other than slight bruise from one.
CVS has been my pharmacy for years now and I see no reason to change. The staff is friendly, polite and very helpful

Today 2/4/24 around 7:00 pm I had a young lady come to help me out, out of her own will. Something I have not seen in a while probably since the Pandemic started.

It is my opinion, locally owned pharmacies are the best with which to do business. Most employees at CVS and Walgreens are well-meaning people (emphasis on ‘most’) but the corporate structure as is with most all pharma-related businesses, is committed to profits only. There could still be a turn around by using local stores (of any type, mechanics, groceries, barber shops, hair salons, banks and on and on.) local means accountability to you and other members of your community. CVS is a perfect example of retail gone bad.

I’m a pharmacy technician from an independent in Houston. We called to transfer out prescriptions to this CVS in Freeport. Unlike most CVS in Houston, your staff and especially the Rph were very polite and prompt with the process. All 5 stars are so deserving.

The girls in the pharmacy are friendly, efficent and have great attitudes. They always seem to go the extra mile to help out their customers any chance they get. There are alot of long tenured employees there that are knowledgeable about their jobs and familiar with their customers needs. You really can't go wrong going to this store for your pharmacy needs.
