Sales people were helpful and Customer service is NOT. Our table arrived damaged. We've been waiting for over two months for someone to come look at the table we were sent. I've reached out multiple times to customer service. We were sent the parts that were missing to replace ourselves. No one has followed up. Here we are almost three months post delivery and no one will call me back. I do NOT recommend purchasing furniture from Bassett.

Not solid wood, veneer over something. This furniture is not worth the money. The table chipped. Called for warranty work. They sent out a “technician” to fix the table. They used a an aqua green marker to try and color in the chipped wood. What!? Yes a aqua green color pen. Now they’re saying it’s out of warranty and will not fix it. This place will not stand behind their products. Might as well shop at Ikea and save yourself some money.

Ordered a sofa and went in to follow up on status. At the time of ordering the sofa was told it would take 10 to 12 weeks. Ok fine. It's been 10 weeks, sales clerk said no status, she had no clue and can't check and it will be 14 weeks!!! And she'll have the sales clerk that sold me the sofa call me. Never received a call and I'm still waiting. If you need furniture go else where or you'll be waiting over 4 months!! Poor customer service.

Store was immaculately kept!! Was looking for a specific sofa, I forgot the name of the younger lady that helped me, but she asked me a few questions and showed me 2 sofas that I both loved! So I bought them both. One for my family’s house and one for my Aunt as an early 50th birthday gift. We absolutely love them, the quality and comfort is amazing!! I hope you can maybe look up who sold 2 sofas that day, it was a Thursday day around 1pm a few weeks ago, she was fantastic!!

I had an awful experience with this location this afternoon. When my husband and I entered the showroom, there were 4 employees sitting, but only one looked up and awkwardly said hi. After we walked into the 2nd room, we were eventually greeted with a hello by another woman who quickly walked by with stuff in her hands, but no one ever asked if they could help us. We found a couple of sets of furniture that we liked, but we had a few questions. We finally gave up the hope of asking an employee. I was quite disappointed with the employees. One girl was propped up against a wall and seemed to be scrolling on her phone, 2 other employees were on computers, and another seemed to be texting on her cell phone. Only 1 person was up walking around. As we exited, we walked by three of the people who were sitting, and not one of them acknowledged our presence. I cannot imagine returning to this store.

Dear Basset Executive Management, You really need to listen to your good customers. When good American people are willing to invest thousands of dollars into your often over priced furniture, the very least you can do is give them excellent customer service in return. I recently bought (2) full grain leather accent chairs from Basset Furniture. Because the purchase was somewhat impromptu by me, I decided to do a little research on the current state of Basset Furniture. To my surprise, I have seen so many poor reviews by real customers that have not been replied to by management. I only see good reviews getting attention by management. Basset this is an alarming continuing trend! It's very important that you respond to your customer base when they take the time to express their true experiences with hundreds of thousands of potential new buyers. These are very serious statements being made about the current condition of your furniture company & culture. Everything from diminishing build quality, poor customer service, to poorly trained & dishonest sales staff. Basset you are in danger of being a once great company that stopped caring about its loyal customers in exchange for meeting quarterly sales expectations for its stock holders. I fully understand that across the board, most higher end furniture companies are not producing the once great quality of furniture that our parents came to love and appreciate. So I decided to pick a higher end furniture company who at least still offered excellent customer service. Basset you must realize that your customers aren't making up lies about their experiences and that real people are reading these comments and making decisions based on what these real people are saying. I'm proof of this. I recently made the rest of my home furniture purchases with Ethan Allen. Yes, the experience was amazing and yes, my experience matched most of the reviews made by its customer base. Basset, your customer's experience is everything. Do the whats honorary and make things right with your disgruntled customers. Concerned Customer, Honest Abe
