Quaint small town charm, but still close enough to big city amenities.

The Community as a whole! Police, Fire and EMS are quick to respond, serve and protect. The churches come together with schools and assist and support anyone who ask. Neighbors look out for each other and most are truly kind. Yo can ask most anyone in Friendswood for a hand and you will find they multiply!

Dealing with the city of Friendswood was nothing less then perfect. We had a sewer issue and Mr. Steve Bowen was on top of everything, The crew was amazing. They treated my property with respect and cleaned up Everything upon completion of the job. I could barely tell they were even here. Mr. Bowen called me to follow up with the status of the job and was very kind and walked me through everything and even sent me pictures of the issue. I am very grateful and proud to be a 'Friendswoodian'. I have to say I was very worried about the city digging up my backyard, but Mr. Bowen amd his crew restored my faith!

I was shocked at the sexist and condescending reports from Friendswood police. After getting a lot of negative responses from the public, instead of accepting any responsibility or apologizing, they issues a reply that we really just misread their “tone.†This was unprofessional and shows a lack of empathy for female victims of crime. Still waiting for an apology Friendswood.

Hats off to your water dept. Your crews came out and worked all night fixing a water main leak last night. The same crew was there cleaning the site at 8am. This is the same group of folks who were rescuing folks during Hurricane Harvey. They are the back bone of this city and deserve more recognition! Give those fellas a raise! I don't care if my taxes go up, they deserve it!!!!

To the Citizens of Friendswood: I wanted to share with you that during the storm following Hurricane Harvey the Friendswood Police Department all the way down to the Chief of Police himself were out in neck deep water doing everything they could to get citizens to safety. I personally used my canoe to paddle with the Chief of Police to a citizen in need and helped the Chief rescue someone from flood waters. The Chief had literally deployed all of his resources and personall
