Products are pretty cool. I normally love going into stores like these but the second I stepped in, I was made to feel unwelcome by the woman at the register. I had to wait by the socks because I had a stroller. She kept looking over at me as if I was trying to steal. Then, once my daughter picked out what she wanted, I headed to the register to pay and was coldly checked out. It was as if she just wanted us to get out of her store as soon as possible. Never again. She needs to work on her profiling.UPDATE 12/5/23After sending an email to them expressing my concerns, I received an automated message stating that they were closed and would reopen that following Monday. Monday finally rolled around and they sent an email asking me what store I was referring to. I promptly replied that it was the Baybrook Mall store. It's been WEEKS since that email and I have yet to receive any type of message back from them. This is a clear indicator that they don't care AT ALL for how their customers are treated. What a real shame because a lot of their products are pretty quirky and fun. I'll never step foot inside this store ever again and will be actively telling ANYONE & EVERYONE I know, to never buy from Attic Salt.

I give ZERO stars to this store! Employees are RUDE and they treat you like a thief! If you are a person of color beware! They will follow you around the store and make faces. The staff (green hair person & older blonde woman with her hair up at the register)was extremely rude and didn’t greet us or even smile. I will never go back and it’s unfortunate because I use to love buying things there but I’ll never go back! Please teach them kindness and simply the understanding on how far a smile can go.

Employee insinuated that our daughter was trying to steal when merely holding a necklace in her hand. Read the other reviews, this place appears to hire many unstable individuals.

Axel is a terrible salesperson with ZERO people skills. Axel was rude as can be and needs to be put away from customer interaction. I'm not one to ever bash a business, but I feel it would be best if this business understood who they have at their registers pushing clientele to put down a couple hundred dollars worth of items because one employee is having a bad day. Never stepping foot into Attic Salt again and will encourage others to do the same. Again, it was Axel with the shaved headand a tiny bit of green hair. Do yourself a favor and address this issue, so as to not lose anymore potential customers.Disappointed Consumer

A lot of clearance marketing to get people in the door. If you're to have clearance marketing plastered in front of your windows make you have the product. 30% off a $60 item is no clearance sale. Location is a tiny shoe box size.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My 14-year-old sister was browsing for some products and when it came time to decide what she wanted to buy she decided that some Hello Kitty hair ties were out of her price range, so she decided to leave them and proceed to buy some other products. When it came time to pay the store employee Corinne D. started insinuating that my sister was planning to steal the hair ties. My sister explained that she saw the price, decided to not purchase them, and left them somewhere in the store. The rude employee proceeded to tell her that she would have to check her H&M shopping bag and was going to check her personal small backpack, but in the end, decided not to. The employee checked the H&M bag and made my sister go get the hair ties from where she had left them. In the end, the employee was satisfied with her search and interrogation and let her go, but never even apologized for the horrible time she made her go through. Would never visit again. I understand that employees need to make sure stealing doesn't happen, but harassing a 14-year-old is not a good way. The employee should have approached it in a different way. Hope management teaches their employees basic customer service skills.

Went to this store on Sunday and immediately an employee with a beanie starting following us around and eyeing us around but wouldn’t do that when other people came in. We went up to some products that clearly stated not to open which we saw and when we picked it up she immediately told us with a rude attitude to not open it. Overall the experience was horrible WOULDNT recommended this place.

If I could rate customer experience 0/5 I would, not only was the employee with a beanie on watching us like a hawk the entire time but they chose to rudely comment on my niece about how she shouldn’t open a certain object when my niece had literally just picked up the object… just saying a group of poc came in and we were a problem but a group of non poc people came in and they didn’t get the nasty stares and attitude sooo…
