I was surprised that this store has less than three stars but when I visited them I realized that actually they are overrated! The most rude unprofessional employee I had ever encountered in my life. I was shopping from the Gymboree section as I bought something online, but It won’t be delivered on time, so I thought to just get it from the store if I find it. I am a limited mobility person, I went down on my knees to look for something, the employee wanted to pass, I let her pass, I shrunk myself in the corner for her, and then she asked to pass behind my back again, the third time she asked to pass, I said no! It really hurt my back all those times trying to make a space for her to pass while there is other route she could clearly uses. After I finally got up, she chased me in the store yelling front of everyone that she is doing her job and I told her she could use another way while there is a stroller siting in the middle of store that she didn’t hurt herself to move away, but it is ok for her to move a limited mobility person three times. If it wasn’t for my kids, I will leave the store without buying anything. Never going back here again. That employee really shouldn’t be working in a place like this.

the worse customer service, so rude attitude , and when i ask for a manager, she said I AM,i went with the item I purchased 2 days ago, not used or anything and i also have the receipt, i was only willing to find a smaller size, But she was so rude and aggressive and refused

HORRIBLE place! They do not care about customer service or what a line means. I found the same shirt online for $1.49 and free shipping, at this location they had it on "sale" for $5. DO NOT go to this location!! Purchase online or go to Carters.

First of if I could give this location NEGATIVE 5 stars I would.Wow, where to begin. I drove out of my way to this location in Baybrook mall because Baytown and Pasadena had horrible reviews and I’ve already had bad experiences there (not like this one) so I wanted to avoid that today. YUP, I was completely wrong ? Did not avoid anything?I went to exchange an item I received online but was damaged.To the Manager Paula that made my experience not so pleasant please re-read through the policies children’s place puts into place and know that before I even step into a store where I have an issue that I’ve already spoke to customer service and was told directly from them to do my exchange in store. I had to get on the phone with customer service in order to get my transaction processed. It was a waste of my time and even while I was on the phone with customer service Paula kept saying she couldn’t do the exchange. Even kinda blamed me for the item being damaged. Ummmm NO ma’am. Paulas comment that I had ruined the item really threw me over the edge. Mind you I’mOn the phone with customer service so they heard her say that to me. I’ve been a loyal customer for 11 years & have never EVER been treated with such disrespect. I proceeded with the call and made a formal complaint directly with them and will also be writing corporate. Once she saw I wasn’t getting off the phone she did the exchange. It TOOK 1 minute. But in my case a simple exchange took over 15-20 min for nothing. Paula has left a sour taste in my mouth on how this location operates. To the new girl working the cash register good luck and thank you to the other associate on the floor for helping me. I am a verified customer and I did make my purchase online and exchanged in this store. Paula stop telling Children’s place customers you can’t do return in store and for those who have already written a review about the same issue. I’m so sorry you were treated that way.Don’t back down. Call customer service and stand y’all’s ground. They don’t own the stores nor do they make the policies ?

Unbelievably rude and unprofessional!!! Went into the store to exchange a pair of boots that I ordered online for a different size(brand new with hanger and plastic cord still holding the boots together) and they refused to let me exchange them for the correct size. The manager was rude and not helpful. Called customer service and they said that the manager coulf and should have processed the exchange. Customer service is going to get me the correct size and i am thankful for that, but I will never step foot in this store again!

They have a very bad attitude bad customer service they are rude they should all be fired There is always a way to talk nice to a customer they just lost $300 cause I was gonna buy a lot of clothes to ship international and they were very nasty and rude Paula Very disrespectful

Great store with great staff, but it is small. It is hard to walk around and look because everything is so tight together.

I prefer The Adult's Place, but who doesn't. I've never been a fan of this store. Everything is really expensive and this location, which is down at the Baybrook Mall, is just not my favourite. We were cruising through every store in the mall as we often do, and I don't think we'll browsing this one next time, even though Barbie is often looking for things for her niece and nephew.
