This place is amazing! I walked in about 1.5 hours before closing. I needed a few things done to the car including oil change and both front and rear brake service.
Woody was great! He was able to squeeze me in the same day. Nick was the mechanic, he did a great job as well. They even stayed a bit after closing to finish the job.
Big shoutout to this shop, I’ll be coming here for all my car services moving forward

Brakes Plus has been amazing. They honestly feel like a throwback to when businesses really cared about the people they served. They treat you like they actually know you, not just like another customer.
They’re kind, they communicate, and if something changes, they call and explain it clearly. They don’t just give prices—they help you understand the options, what’s necessary, and what can wait. I’ve been to other places where the prices feel inflated and you don’t feel heard at all.
At Brakes Plus, I feel welcome every time, and I trust what they tell me. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I had an awesome experience at Brakes Plus in Frisco on W Eldorado Pkwy! Woody was hands-down the best service advisor I’ve ever worked with. Not only was he incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, but he was *hilarious*—seriously made my day. He treated me like family… the good kind of family! The whole team there was friendly, honest, and welcoming. Woody definitely deserves a raise. I’ll 100% be coming back for any future car needs. Highly recommend!

Review is more so on the company not the staff working
But there is no point in telling customers to set an appointment time for a day, then when you get them in the shop you tell them it’s going to be a 2 hour wait before they can even get their car started, bad service
Communication is key, you ask for contact information in the appointment screen , so why not let people know ahead of time if the shop is backed up ?
And lastly, stop advertising prices for things that are not valid when you go to the shop. A business needs to make money I get that, but using acts of deception to get people in the door is unethical and not only did I leave, I also didn’t trust them with my car after that. If a business lied to you twice in the very beginning , would you feel comfortable still working with them? No worries though, because I never spent any money, the gentleman working the front was polite, I have nothing against him. I simply went down the street and got my oil change for a lesser price and I was done in 30 minutes with no appointment.

Came in for brake inspection because it was making noise and state inspection needed. I was told system is down for state inspection, no problem. They said front pads is 7mm and rear pads is 10mm. I left happy and left a 5 stars review since I was asked to. Took my car to another shop for state inspection and report came back 3mm front pads and 6mm rear pads.
