I've been a customer since 2022 and everyone there is helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and I actually enjoy stopping by. They handle multiple customers and never have I ever heard a phone not get answered.I will say there seemed to be a new member there this last visit and I completely understand the actual need to vent about work things, it seemed he spent more time trash talking other teammates rather than helping with something, anything. It even seemed the older gentleman was a bit uncomfortable having to hear it all while customers were coming in.I think the thing that made it even more awkward was as I was leaving with one of the superstars at that location, the chatty cathy decided to speak in a more demanding tone and get on to people about a serial number. I know I don't work there but from everyone I have encountered they are some of the most accommodating, rule following, respectful people and to see someone spent more time gossiping about their work experience and then suddenly try to jump on teammates, seemingly without simply having a respectable tone. Well I just hope the resentment that one feels can be worked through and that the team that has maintained a great store stays.

Lousy. Shameful. No wonder they were being served with a lawsuit by another customer when I first went back to complain. A nearby restaurant said they have several lawsuits pending against staff members, not just the store. They sold me a used amp and install for $1200!! That's it. I had everything else installed. Still managed to screw up that install in my '74 Eldorado. They ripped loose AC ducts inside the dash. They left carpet untucked around door sill entry plates. The failed to add a filter so I have ignition noise constantly. Something is still rattling around behind the glove box while driving that I cannot isolate. Worst of all, the amp resets EVERY time I park the car and they knew this was an issue. Obviously why someone else returned it and they pawned it off on me! You have to turn to ACC for 10 seconds, then off, THEN start the car every time or the amp doesn't mate to the Kenwood head.

Adam @Frisco Car Toys, consistently demonstrated outstanding patience, professionalism and frankness with helping me decide on which speakers (components) and amplification to go with after spending many Sunday afternoons with me letting me listen to various combinations, once I made up mind, installation was handled in the most professional and detailed manner. Taylor completed the custom installation of the component speakers, installation of sound deadening materials, custom fabrication of the amplifiers, then made several tuning adjustments to the system to meet our listening preferences, all the while maintaining a friendly and enthusiastic attitude. Taylor kept me well informed and provided me with installation photos, Frisco Car Toys is the place to go for a High-Resolution car stereo installation without a doubt! OUTSTANDING WORK INDEED!

Very knowledgeable about the best system for your vehicle. Extremely personable staff and were willing to explain all questions I had. Really felt like it was their goal to take care of me and what I was having installed. Good people, would recommend and would go back!

I bought a dash cam for my wife's new SUV. The salesman was good and knowledgeable about the dash cam options Car Toys had.The reason I bought then was that they coukd install it right away. Now here is where I feel screwed. The installer did not have a pre- install conservation with me before he started the install and find our where I wanted the cam placed on the windshield. Where he put it is in the middle of the windshield, right in the line of sight of the driver. I wanted it somewhat hidden behind the rearview mirror. This is where my other SUV's Momentium 6 dash cam is placed. It does have the same field of vision as the new Thinkware U3000. Don't get wrong, the new dash camis installed professionally. But I just don't like the position. I feel it in in the line of sight of the driver. I think Car Toys should have a new mandatory pre-install meeting with the customer and installer, in the car to find out where the customer wants it placed. I should have insisted on this, like I did with the Lewisville Car Toys installer. So, I was not proactive and suggested that we talk prior to the installation. Car Toys please institute the pre-installation in car meeting. Because once the camera's adhesive pad is stuck you cannot move it.Thank you

Their installation killed my car battery and alternator, and have to spend 1200$ to get it fixed.

Very pleased with the manager here. Our son had his after market cruise control removed a year after it was installed due to a vehicle issue. Unprompted, the manager arranged to have our son receive a nice-sized partial refund from corporate for a likely defective cruise control kit. Can’t thank them enough.
