Phenomenal experience!!!! Valdéh got my curl’s back to health in NO time! In just 1 appointment, we were able to go over how I care for my hair, how I wash it, how I style it, and how to keep it hydrated. My curls feel the healthiest it’s EVER been! Valdéh has such a caring and attentive spirit, you can immediately feel the nurturing energy he puts into your hair. You WON’T be disappointed. 10 / 10!!! I cannot wait to return.

Valdeh is a hair magician!
I first went to Curl Revolution Salon in February of 2022 for a consultation after my hair had suffered 2 years of damaging color and disappointing haircuts. Valdeh was patient in showing me the extent of the damage, explained what could be done to repair it, and honest in telling me that it wasn't something that could be repaired quickly. I put my trust in him and after about 18 months, my hair had completely transformed. I started to get compliments on my curls and hair color, and they haven't stopped since! It has been a slow but dramatic change from the dry/broken/thin/multicolored hair I showed him when we first met.
As someone who didn't invest in or learn how to properly care for my curly hair until I was in my 40's, I can attest to the fact that a quality haircut and the right color make a HUGE difference. I used to get haircuts every 2-3 months, and now I only need one every 8 months. I used to get my roots touched up every 4 weeks, and now I only need it every 7 weeks.
The team at Curl Revolution stays on top of the latest products and trends and has always recommended affordable hair care products that work. (I order most of mine on Amazon!) About a year ago, they added a unique product called K18 which is nothing short of incredible; it keeps my hair so soft and shiny between cuts.
To top it all off, our fun and interesting conversations make the time together enjoyable! I always look forward to visiting the salon and catching up on things.
I'm so incredibly grateful for everything Valdeh and the Curl Revolution team have done for me!

My Place to Get Custom Curly Services in DFW
I found Valdéh’s Curl Revolution Salon in October 2024! I’m very careful about where I get my curly hair styled, it’s not easy to find a salon with professional experience in all curly hair types.
Valdéh has a very thorough pre-appointment process for new and returning clients. He captures all the details needed to make sure the service is meets your needs. During the appointment he will talk through your style with you and check to make sure that it suits your needs every step of the way. You’ll leave your appointment knowing that your hair got what it needed, and you the got look you feel most confident in.
This is the second time I’ve come to get a custom curly cut from Valdéh and I’m always impressed by his knowledge and attentiveness for every client. It’s only my second time because his method will make your style last! Your cut will still look great as it grows out too.
I haven’t colored my curly hair in about 12 years, but I’ll be coming back to Valdéh to get my color done and anything else he recommends. He always does a great job and wants you to look and feel your best!

DISAPPOINTING!!! I came in very excited for an evaluation to discuss my naturally hair. I was ready to ditch the extensions and embrace the curl! Curl Revolution was responsive via text prior to the visit. I prepared myself (as asked in the texts) by collecting photos of myself with prior hairstyles, as well as photos for inspiration of what curly style I was looking for.
The consultation started well, but by the end, I was pretty turned off for several reasons. There were multiple topics discussed that had nothing to do with my hair or expectations, ie, other business ventures, personal life, relationships, and a charity he has set up for his girlfriend that could be donated to, etc. There were multiple comments that extensions aren’t offered - he doesn’t do them - and a very long explanation as to why (despite the fact that I was specifically there to find a style where I could get rid of my extensions). There was also an obvious attempt to upsell me on additional products and services during the consult like keratin treatments that could “only be found in salons”. I actually found the exact same treatment at Sephora. At the end of the consult, I was told that we went over on time, but he “wasn’t going to charge me for going over.” I found that to be a ridiculous statement because we ran over due to the random stories, sales pitches, and inserts that weren’t pertinent to the consult. I left and still had no idea what my expectations should be for my hair or what was possible, and not once was I asked about what I wanted from a style standpoint. I was never asked to see the pictures I had prepared illustrating what I was hoping for from a cut standpoint. I paid the $125 for the consult, but it was absolutely not worth it as it met none of my expectations.
I did call the manager to discuss, and she was kind enough to call me back after talking with him and I was told he would reach out and call me to address my concerns, but I never received the follow up call. VERY DISAPPOINTING OVERALL.

I have never had a curly cut like this; it's amazing and spectacular. Valdeh spent more than 3 hours with me. He cut my hair dry, washed and conditioned and cut again. Curls I didn't know existed popped out! He spent a lot of time teaching me how to put my products in and style. Spend the time and money with Valdeh, you're worth it.

I love my cuts with Valdeh. Due to low iron and thyroid my hair has been shedding horribly and had thinned. His cut gave my hair so much bounce and volume. He is also the nicest person with a great disposition. I will never have anyone else cut my hair.

I was very impressed with Valdeh! He took a lot of time to understand my particular curl pattern. I have very curly in front and wavy in back. He created a cut that blends the two different types of curls. He also showed me how to style my hair and how to refresh the curls daily. I love his passion for curly hair. Not going to lie… I left the salon in tears. I felt like I looked like Edward Scissor hands… now this was because my hair was so damaged from constantly straightening it- so Valdeh had a lot of work. Anyways it was an expensive and LONG appointment ($600 and 3.5 hours). So you’re probably wondering why I’m giving Curl Revolution 5 stars after I said I left in tears? Well it’s because, Valdeh deserves it- he really knows what he’s doing and will really help you with your hair. Almost 2.5 months later I’m embracing my curls and absolutely love my hair. He’s expensive and very meticulous as a heads up but if you want someone to look out for your curls it’s Valdeh! Highly recommend him!Also side note, I straightened my hair once after and it looked awesome! I don’t know how he was able to cut my hair so my hair looked good both curly and straight!

Best haircut I have ever had! Valdeh took his time explaining and teaching me about all of the techniques he was using on my hair. You can really tell how passionate he is about helping his clients bring out the best in their natural curls. My hair feels and looks so much healthier. Appointment for partial highlights. Was charged $650 !! hair dresser "V" said he had to do a color correction which was highlights and a toner. When I left the salon it was dark and my hair was still wet, the following day and weeks my hair looked like nothing had been done. emails to "V" the owner to let him know, he did not offer to repair or return my money. $650 for what was not done is excessive and will not return to this salon. Suggest you get the amount he is going charge up front - not when you are checking out. It's a Russian roulette on his pricing.There are other curly hair dressers that are less expensive and do a fab job.Service: Hair coloring
