  I have been aware of the excellent quality of Ethan Allen furniture for many years. Recently we ordered a chair (we are very pleased with it) and were especially impressed with the delivery which was on time and exactly as promised.

  Pavi at Ethan Allan in Frisco was wonderful to work with. We looked at several furniture items during a couple of different visits, and she helped us find the perfect piece for our home. Pavi’s design ideas were helpful, especially when comparing two or three furniture pieces. The quality at Ethan Allan is superb, and courteous, professional assistance makes it a wonderful experience for us. Thank you Pavi, and Ethan Allan.

  My husband and I had been looking for new family room furniture for several years. Our original furniture was high-quality and trying to replace it with something of equal quality was proving difficult. We finally decided to go with Ethan Allen and we were fortunate to meet Vivian, one of the decorators at the Frisco store. She listened intently to what our needs were. We could not see beyond replacing what we had with the exact same configuration but she could. After coming to our house and seeing the environment where the furniture would go, and taking measurements, she used their computer program and casted pictures of our proposed room onto a TV screen. She worked with the rest of our decor and did not try to push us to buy items that we did not want or need. She came up with a configuration that made the room lighter and updated.
  
  I wanted a lot of input as to fabric choices and she was able to guide me to the right decisions and steer me away from wrong ones. Vivian is very kind, fun to work with, and confident in her knowledge of interior design. She was a joy to work with and I highly recommend her.

  My recent purchase of bedroom furniture has left me deeply disappointed in the quality of the furniture. I waited patiently for the furniture to arrive, only to see stain was missing from corners and grooves in the dresser. A drawer was also coming out. Two different people came out to fix that, as well as adding the stain where it was missing. Same issue with side tables. Then the bed arrived and again, I didn’t like that corners weren’t stained and the stain wasn’t uniform across the board. Ethan Allen refused to fix the bed staining and said it met manufacturer standards. I am left with pieces that although the design is nice, it’s unfinished and not at the quality I paid for. I’ve not had any problems in the past. I would not suggest Ethan Allen to anyone else. Look at the pictures and tell me if you think it’s acceptable? If I could return it, I would. It’s not worth the money I spent on it. Especially if I have to file service requests for every single piece.

  We love Ethan Allen home furnishings and have spent a lot of $$$ over the past several years. The quality and aesthetics are uncompromising and we will continue to shop there.
  The first time we purchased from them several years ago, we worked with Terry. She was very easy to work with and her professionalism guided us in selecting the right furniture we needed and the right fabrics. And we love our furniture and get many comments on them!
  Our more recent experience with another sales person was unfortunately not a positive one. Had we known that Terry was still working there we'd have asked for her but after multiple visits to the store and not seeing her, we worked with the individual who approached us.
  
  While product quality is key, a bad sales experience can taint the whole experience. I hope this will be received in the kind spirit in which it is meant and be helpful in going forward.
  
  1. Our questions went unanswered until repeated multiple times. Listening to the customer is crucial.
  2. After spending $10k, there was a constant, and I do mean constant, push, push, push, to buy more and more and more. At First we thought it was kind of funny but, it has NEVER stopped. Even after we left the store, the only communication we receive from her is to tell us about more sales. Never a thank you for shopping with them, or let her know if we have any questions or how she can be of help. When delivery dates change we have to contact her to find out the delivery status. We are still waiting for our dining chairs. When we asked her about them 2 weeks ago, she said they'd be here this past week. They did not come and she did not call us to follow up or update us on a new delivery date. When i contacted her today to ask about the chairs, she told us to contact the office, that they could help us. And they did help us. Thank you Diedra. (Sorry, spelling?)
  
  We know there are lots of very wealthy people in the DFW area who spend far more that we can on home furnishings, but appreciation for ANY paying customer goes such a long way and will always result in repeat visits. When there's as much competition as there is in Dallas, valuing everyone who visits, regardless of whether a purchase is made, will be felt, remembered and appreciated.
  We will return for sure but will be careful about whom we deal with. Thanks Ethan Allen for being there.

  I have loved Ethan Allen since I was a child shopping with my parents. They have maintained their quality while other companies have gone to cheaper products but same prices. My interior designer Terri was a dream and really brought our thoughts and ideas into reality. The missing star is only because it took so long for our drapes to be delivered. I am sure it was a production issue and perhaps that is a statewide problem, but it was a bit frustrating. We will still go back when the time comes and have a Terri help with some other rooms!
