I have always had excellent service each time I come into the bank to do any business. The personal go out of their way to make sure that you are treated professionally and you are satisfied with the service.

About 7 years ago, FUB made us our first commercial loan. They believed in us when no one else would. We borrowed and paid off about $8 million in commercial real estate loans, with almost perfect on-time payments; we were very good customers of the bank, etc. Then one day, after about 3 years, the bank suddenly stopped lending to us cold turkey. I wrote a few emails in response that, to be honest, were angry emails. I was frustrated (naturally) and should not have lost my temper in my emails while expressing my frustration. I soon apologized profusely. I apologized over and over, very sincerely. Despite this, the bank blackballed us in every branch in Texas and Oklahoma. Today I have a much larger net worth and a much larger income, but First United Bank has completely blackballed me. I thought I should post this review--FUB may believe in forgiveness (I don't know their hearts), but they don't believe in second chances. I now have $50 million in loans with other DFW banks, great banks. But First United Bank was never willing to look at another one of our files, no matter how sincerely or how often I apologized for my frustrated upset comments when they dropped us cold after a nearly perfect 3-year relationship with millions of dollars in successful exits. I wish you the best FUB. I thank you for the loans. You put us on the map. And again, I apologize for my upset comments in those emails when you dropped us cold. But I also believe the public needs to be aware of the temperament of the highest executives, so I am making this post. Respectfully, Mark Cope

I have to say that it is hard to get a hold of anyone. Not what you really want from a bank. Messages are being returned. That means you have to drive to the bank to ask a question or get something fixed.I got a hold of Jamie at the bank. She was SOOO helpful! Definitely an asset to that bank. I used to use Betty Davis who now works at the First United in Prosper.I would definitely give Jaime five stars!! She was amazing and got things resolved.

a month agoDo not use this for mortgage services----horrible bank with poor service. I did a refinance and was assure and have emails from bank telling me to forgo that month payment. I confirmed and have email from them to do so---then i get a alert from my credit system they put late payment on my account----they eventually fixed--Okay accident happen----now it happened again and again they said we are sorry and are retracting their error--how is it they can continually make same errors at my expense---I have apology letter from first incident and now this issue is effecting a refinance on a auto loan i had started--------anyone know a good attorney that handles these types of errors that cost customers money on bank errors

This bank has the most vindictive and retaliatory staff I have ever witnessed in a business. They care nothing of your relationship and don't bother complaining. The over zealous account manager will just close your account. I told an employee about the retaliatory nature of the officer Cheryl Todd and rather then give me help, she alerted Cheryl about my complaint and she promptly closed my account. I will be filing complaints with every legal avenue available and I believe this bank namely Cheryl Todd has broken the law. In my opinion, this bank defrauded me of money and time. I would keep my money under a mattress vs ever giving them a dollar!
