Fantastic example of a library! Kid friendly, attractions, fun books, interactive activities, computers, and Trex! I wish my libraries coming up were this cool!

Frisco Public Library is well set up for families. Wide walkways, stroller-friendly design, and family restrooms make it easier to manage visits with young children.
The children’s area works for different ages — my 5-year-old enjoyed the books and activities while my 2-year-old was happy exploring safely. The dinosaur display is a big draw, though afternoons can get busy, so mornings are better for younger kids. Holds are quick to collect, and staff are consistently helpful.

My go-to spot! It is so vast and organized I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to drink a coffee and read or even study for an exam. There is a teen section, quiet section, private rooms with codes, and so much more. Not to mention the awesome life sized dinosaur skeleton which gets decorated during the holidays.

Hey upstairs male employee with glasses who snapped at my 5 year old for jumping on the “big stairs” - calm down. He’s 5. I know there are rules and I’ll handle it. Learn to deal with little boys better. 🙄

Love the space. So we'll designed. Just cozied up in a nook with some books to beat the heat and checked out the rest. Easy peasy

This library is gorgeous.
Sadly, even if you live in the City of Frisco, you may not be an eligible member for this library. Customer service on the phone today (Sunday) was lacking, and she recommended I come in with my paperwork to prove I live in Frisco (not Hackberry).
So I did, and the kind associate working on the floor explained this unique relationship between Frisco, Little Elm and Hackberry. Since I am just outside their borders, my options would be to:
• Join Frisco Library by paying a $50/year membership
• This excludes the use of Libby for any digital content
I was going to give 3 stars, but three stars merits an acceptable experience… unfortunately, the woman on the phone was not helpful at all - she just kept “reiterating” that I live in the city of Hackberry.

Whoa! This library is state of the art amazing. I've never been to a library where the parking garage lot was full and people were bustling in an out. What a treasure.

The Frisco Public Library is seriously impressive! It’s a beautiful, spacious, and well-designed space with plenty of parking and greenery. Inside, it’s fully air-conditioned with areas for all age groups—babies, toddlers, teens, and even those with visual impairments. Membership is free, and you can borrow up to 18 books at a time.
There’s a fantastic pretend-and-play area open until 5 PM that’s perfect for toddlers, plus tons of educational books and computer-based games for kids. Parents can sit with their little ones or work upstairs in the quiet workspace, which also has printing and scanning facilities. The comfy seating, study cubicles, and thoughtful layout make it a great place for both learning and relaxing. Honestly, one of the best libraries I’ve ever visited!
