First time trying this store and it's amazing for book lovers and more, such great prices for cool books, arts and crafts, cards, dvds, and more. Could've easily spent half a day browsing and picking what to buy, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the selection is huge! Can't wait to come back!

I have always been a fan of HPB. Sometimes we go on a mission looking for a certain book or movie. Sometimes we just go to look around. This was my first time selling digital media to them. It didn't pay much, but I'm happy to support this type of business and my daughter and I each came home with a new book!

Condescending and Unprofessional Front Desk Service
I stopped by this Half Price Books expecting a pleasant visit and was greeted instead with one of the most condescending and unprofessional interactions I’ve had in a bookstore. The front desk clerk — whether she was having a bad day or simply lacks basic communication skills — came across as dismissive, short, and outright rude.
If you’re going to put someone at the very front of your store, they should at least know how to greet customers respectfully and communicate without talking down to them. Instead, I was met with an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by simply walking in.
This location seriously needs to reconsider who they choose to represent their store. I’d rather take my business elsewhere than deal with someone who acts like they’re here just to collect a paycheck.
