I went in for a pickup order for 8 things of yarn. i was given 3, as i realize before i leave there's supposed to be 8 (pick up for mom not myself). I go back in and the woman KAREN. an actual KAREN! is on the defensive as soon as me and my bf walk in. speaking to us so rude and confrontational almost as she wanted to start a fight. whenever i just said i'm here for the rest of the order. she claimed there was no other bags with the name. then after more rudeness she looked again and handed me someone else's order w the same last name. i said these are not the colors. she gave me attitude again as if i have done anything wrong. I ask if there is a chance there is another one w the same last name but a different first name . She says and i quote "there are never the first names on the bag!!!!" after a moment i look and read the full name on the bag which is not mine. Then embarrassed still bothered by my presence she looks again and then while i make a call to see if the other yarn that weren't in the order was refunded, she starts speaking loud that "they are canceled!" i am on the phone not talking to her and again "they are canceled i am sure of it!" angrily. well she was so sure ab the first names on the bag as well hahaha. i wanted to refund the 3 i had there since there is no point if i didn't have all 8 but i was not gonna try. this interactions had customers watching smile in disbelief as i didn't know what to do but laugh myself in shock. this is a shame.

My wife loves this store but they need a major remodel for this location in Frisco, TX. Super old store.

Great place however, the parking lot has large lips. Was digging for my keys and went down hard. Hurt both wrists, elbow, ribs and knees. However the service inside was amazing. Note to self dig keys out before leaving the store.

Please properly train and manage your personnel. Saturday Sep 9th, morning around 9:30 AM. An old lady - there was only one cashier. Dismissive, rude, hurrying up and refusing to look at a discount code in our app. Didn’t know how to operate the credit card machine.The store is clean and nice, people inside were nice but that is all worthless, because you have to interact with this lady in order to get out of the store, and it’s the last image of the store you will take with you. It might be an age challenge, a generational gap, but still doesn’t make it right.We will not be coming back - regardless please do something about it. These kind of persons, and unnecessarily unpleasant interactions are the reason retail is moving online.

Howard, the store manager, is a great example of service to a customer. He has gone beyond what a manager might be expected to do in order to help me locate a particular fabric. This has all been during a huge sale when he had to be physically and mentally exhausted. He told me that customers are waiting up to one hour to have fabric cut. Five stars plus goes to you and hopefully a little raise in pay. From Sherman, Texas.

I'll start by saying there's not a Joann's out there that I've ever been impressed with. It's supposed to have the best stock of fabric and sewing supplies with a smidge of other craft supplies, and a few random low quality home decor items. Although even when it comes to sewing supplies I'm usually disappointed here. I love Michaels & Hobby Lobby, but when it comes to sewing supplies they just don't have the variety you sometimes need. So you go to Joann's. And you walk away disappointed, and a bit disgusted. Every single time I come I'm shocked at how disorganized, dirty & poorly stocked they are. You're sure to find fabric here if that's what you're after, but you're usually "treated" to a gruff lady at the fabric counter who loudly judges the customers. At least that was my experience. But if you're looking for anything else, be prepared to be disappointed. Avoid at all costs. Order through Amazon or other retailers online and pay a little extra in order to not waste time coming to this dump and still walking away empty handed.

Checked online AND called the store to make sure they had what I needed …. Drove from Mesquite to freaking frisco and come to find out they don’t have it . I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN what a waste of money time and gas.

First, let me start this review by giving a huge shoutout to the lovely person who rang me up today, i unfortunately do not have her name but hopefully some kind of upper management sees this and can figure out who it was I order to commend her absolutely amazing customer service!! (I checked out at 3:00PM on 6/9/2023 on register 11) she seriously went so above and beyond the wonderful service I always get at this store, and helped me efficiently find coupons on Joann's website to ensure I got the best price possible, even being so kind as to walk me through the steps without making me feel like I was being a nuisance even though my phones service decided to be super slow. She was so kind and so patient and even complimented some of the items I purchased! It's that kind of customer service that I find super common among all the employees who work here, too! The employees genuinely make shopping here a really enjoyable and fun experience which is why it's always my go to out of all the nearby craft stores available. Is the store selection sometimes a little bare? It can be, but also at other times it's full and I will say that I ALWAYS find the best deals here :) thank you so much to the employees for being so incredible!

Ordered for curbside pickup. Got an email today saying “thanks for picking up your order” while I was standing in my kitchen. This means the order was charged to my card and I have yet to pick it which causes me now to distrust this location. BE CAREFUL if you order online for curbside. Watch your emails closely! Should you not end up being able to pick up they could be completing the order and taking your money without you realizing.

Good Joann’s location. It’s a large store in a nice shopping center. They have great sales. A lot of items were sold out or very picked over. It was a tad messy but they did have a lot of sales going on. Great customer service.
