My experience with Alexis Fields was extremely disappointing, especially given the importance of professionalism and compassion during the holiday season. After being misinformed by one of her employees about the status of my pickup, I reached out for clarification, expecting help and accountability.
Instead, Alexis responded dismissively, stating, “I don’t know what to tell you, I can’t control the system,” which showed a complete lack of ownership and customer care. She then went on to explain that her employee was leaving for the day due to childcare issues as if that somehow excused the misinformation or her unprofessional tone. Personal staffing matters should never be used to justify poor service.
To make matters worse, she canceled my order without resolution and initially claimed she could provide no documentation whatsoever of the cancellation not even a receipt. It wasn’t until I requested contact information for her regional manager that she suddenly became able to provide customer service resources.
I left this interaction feeling dismissed, frustrated, and undervalued as a customer. A situation that could have been handled with empathy and professionalism instead became unnecessarily stressful. Customer service especially during the holidays requires accountability, communication, and compassion, all of which were lacking in this experience.

Updated post after contacting corporate office: See original post below after the update. Store and company would receive negative stars if that rating were possible.
I was told that district manager would be made aware of situation and would address it with this store. I was also told that in the future reference “contacting customer service for mail returns or exchanges is recommended, as in store assistance is not guaranteed”. This is absolutely ridiculous. Inconvenience the customer more why don’t you. This is poor customer service at its finest. I will never shop this store ever again. I making others aware of this as well. Unless you are absolutely sure about the product you purchase or you don’t mind defective products by all means shop here.
I am rating a one star only because I cannot rate ZERO stars. I went in yesterday to exchange a pair of shoes that was most definitely defective. It has been less than a month that I had purchased it and I had worn it only a couple of times. Shoes were coming apart. Associate proceeded to tell me that nothing could be done since I had worn the shoes. My exchange fell in between the 30 days for defective merchandise. She told me “you must have received a bad batch. We can’t do anything” I wasn’t asking for a refund just an exchange for same shoe same size. When I asked for a manager her response “I am the manager”. Very poor customer service on her part. This store definitely does not know how to treat a customer.

I had a very rude experience at this store. I was ready to check out with my shoes on the counter standing in front of the sale staff. Instead of looking at me to complete the transaction; she chose to call someone from the back of the store to check them out in front of me. I then proceeded to stand in lane so she could check them out. I moved up got the counter to pay and the another staff member questioned if I needed to check out. I said I need someone to ring up my shoes. The other staff member grabbed my shoes and said oh no she is not going to be rude. Needless to say I left my purchase on the counter and left. This staff was very disrespectful. I am very disappointed by the service that received here. Bummer because they lost an over 100 sale!

I had such a great experience at this location. I was in between sizes and didn’t know which one to get when the associate Ez informed me that I could exchange whichever one I bought up to a year after purchase. This peace of mind helped my decision making process. I’d been going to Journey’s for years and never knew about this policy. Shoutout to Ez for being such a helpful employee and earning the company a lifelong customer.

I had an AMAZING experience at this Journeys! I was having some issues with a return, and Ricardo went above and beyond to help me find a solution. He was incredibly kind and made me feel like a priority as a customer. Despite the store being super busy, he took the time to focus on helping me and was very appreciative of my patience. Even with the place fully packed, he managed to solve my problem efficiently. Not only that, but he was also extremely helpful to other customers and his fellow workers, answering their questions with the same level of kindness and professionalism. Ricardo truly cares about the customers and their needs, and his great personality shines through in everything he does! I will definitely be returning :))

Go to Journey's at Stonebriar Mall and see Lauren she was at the kids store but now upstairs. She's the manager and is beyond amazing and will help with absolutely anything. Lauren is very knowledgeable and knows what type of shoe would be best for the occasion. She is great with fashion and is happy to give you advice as to whether the shoe you choose will be a good fit and if it's not she'll show you what would be better. And she is honest. I would recommend anyone looking for honesty on shoes, boots, or anything else to go see Lauren at Journey's in the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco TX. I will definitely be back for all of my family's footwear.

I had the best experience yesterday at JOURNEYS that stonebriar Mall! First off the employees were so helpful,kind and listened to what I needed and wanted. I came in to exchange a pair of crocs that I got, and they were just not what I really wanted so I went there and spoke with a manager who is super helpful and so sweet. You could tell that the employees really listen to her and follow her direction.., everyone had great customer service was went above and beyond to help me and with all the help that they provided me and made me feel like I was the only person in the room I actually upgraded to a pair of UGGs that I absolutely love they are so comfortable and cute and they have the style of the crocs, but much more fashionable and even though I had to pay a little bit more money I am so happy and pleased with my experience at JOURNEYS and will definitely come back and just want to say that Michelle was so nice and courteous and very helpful to me and she all around and was a very good employee. I hope that she gets recognition for her work, and especially the manager in there. She was rocking that Pink Mohawk!! But she was so helpful as well and I can’t say any more nice things about her. She was quick to help me and just made my day. Plus even though they were busy the entire time there she never took her focus off of what she was doing, which was helping me make a right out of a bad situation

My friend and I went in looking for a specific shoe that we were both anticipating to purchase if they had our size. I asked for a size 9, my friend asked for a 7 and an 8. The young man brought me a size 9 in the wrong color, and proceeded to bring my friend a size 9 in a different color, when’s he asked for a 7 and an 8. I told him it was the wrong color and that he brought my friend the wrong size. He went back and got the color I wanted, but then told my friend they didn’t have her sizes she asked for. The lady next to us asked for an 8 in the same exact shoe, and the guy brought it for her. Upon us asking why they have the size for the other lady and not us, they just looked around and played dumb. Instead of earning business from both of us at $160 a shoe, they lost both of us due to their lack of attention and poor treatment. Not sure if they’re profiling us because we’re young women, but they lost two customers who avidly buy shoes. If you’re looking to be discriminated and told false info, this is your place!
