Only people in the bank and it took 10 minutes to get to us as I watched the staff wandering around.

They conducted a credit check before reviewing my information, which revealed issues that ultimately led to the loan denial. This unnecessary credit inquiry negatively impacted my credit score and could have been avoided with a more thorough initial assessment.
Additionally, they informed me that securing a loan was not possible in my situation. The lack of assistance and unwillingness to explore potential solutions left me frustrated and dissatisfied with their services.

I live in pretty close proximity of the area which is why I use to go there on numerous occasions. Drive through service is horrible, I had a simple withdrawal, but did not receive it. So I went back through the drive through again and the teller finally dispensed the money to me. Not too long ago, I signed up for overdraft protection and the person who helped me wasn't even properly trained; he had me sign the wrong line in the documents and was incompetent about the procedures in the bank. Now I have to wait a whole month for the overdraft protection to take effect, which effects my payment arrangements as well. I went down the street to another Prosperity bank and had the situation resolved quite easily. I also tried to close an old account, but was being mislead with information, and the manager was hindering me from closing it. Overall, I'm furious and frustrated with this bank. I've never been to a bank with so many mishaps and excuses on why simple checking accounts cannot be closed. Everytime I go there, it's like there is no teller at the drive through hardly. This place should be reported to the BBB, because the service here is horrendous. DO NOT BANK HERE!!!

Dealing with Prosperity Bank is incredibly frustrating! Most recently we went on a European trip, so we called the bank to let them know so we could use our debit cards there. The account is in both my wife and my name, but we had to call separately to notify Prosperity--even though we were both at home together. When we got to Europe and tried to use the card to pay for dinner: DECLINED, suspected fraud.This kind of thing happens ALL THE TIME. Perhaps their controls are set way too tight, but about once every 6 weeks or so, one of our cards is either declined for suspected fraud or we try to purchase something above their set purchase limit. I don't believe I should have to spend time dealing with my bank; it should just work. But alas, I feel like I am on chat or phone with them all the time just to do normal things. We aren't doing anything out of the ordinary, just living life like normal people. This never happened our previous bank (that Prosperity bought). SO FRUSTRATING.After this latest debacle in Eurpoe, we're done with Prosperity.

I was at the west frisco bank on 01/07/23 at 12:02, I waited 20 minutes at the drive thru, waiting, several more customers arrived and since they were white people they were served very quickly, very bad service.

Mobile Deposits are rejected CONSTANTLY with no reason or rhyme. Cash is miscounted because bills get “stuck” in the money counter machine, but completely overlooked…. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. Cash deposits at the ATM are constantly “off” so the money is deducted from your account with no explanation.
