This is the worst bank. They are absolutely the WORST! I deposited a check via teller and this BANK won't RELEASE my funds until 8 days after!!!! . I spoke to a so called manager her name a Thai Doan that was just as USELESS as the customer service representative she told me she understood my frustration but YET did nothing but talking over me doesn't let me find a better option over my two accounts (one personal & a business account) been condescending all the time thinking she own the bank doing nothing to FIX the actual problem!

Most of the the employees that you talk to on the phone, could care less, if you have a problem or not. They all act like they hate their job and for you to quit bothering them.

The other review needs to be removed!! It is false information. That review was for Legacy Texas that was an amazing bank. Prosperity has more fees than many banks around and they do not list them on their website or provide them to their customers. All the previous Legacy Texas employers that are now with Prosperity also complain and say these are totally different types of banks and in no way you get treated the same as you did with Legacy. You need to remove the previous review now that Legacy is not in business

Long time Legacy Texas Bank accounts holder. Sadly recently merged to become Prosperity. I had a bad feeling from the outset, and it has held true. Their service was indeed cold and poor. Called once and was given incorrect information relating to service charges and Accounts info by the employee as I was curious. I could see the rate sheet white paper online and her info regarding other issues was false. Asked another question and she put me on hold, and disappeared. Called next day and was confirmed info she gave me day prior was incorrect. I did give the name of this bad employee hoping for discipline. Professionalism and competence are paramount. A rare commodity these days. Noting posts elsewhere, Fees, rude and incompetent employees, the online setup is poor, cash deposits seemingly not immediate as they should be. Transactions delayed or lagging viewing online at the very least. Uncertain yet if this would be used as another method to charge fees. How a bank such as this could gain control and power is beyond me. I will be closing my accounts and the search begins for another bank. I refuse to entertain Chase, Wells Fargo, et al.

Great place to cash checks, get things notarized as well as have a savings account with. They also have a coin machine that's available even if you don't have an account, however they do charge a very small fee if you don't have a bank account with them. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly regarding your banking needs.
