THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I HAVE USED THEIR SERVICES TO TRANSFER MONEY A HANDFUL OF TIMES. THEY HAVE MADE IT REAL EASY. I REACHED OUT TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE, NOT ONLY WAS THE REPRESENTATIVE UNPROFESSIONAL WHEN ANSWERING, THE THICK ACCENT MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND HER CLEARLY. I WAS CONFIRMING ALL OF THE INFORMATION THAT WAS ON HER SCREEN, YET THAT STILL WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. I UNDERSTAND THAT WE DO NOT LIVE IN A PERFECT WORLD AND FRAUD IS REAL, BUT COME ON. I AM SO UPSET, THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST MORNING AND SIMPLY JUST TRYING TO SEND MONEY TO A FAMILY MEMBER. I MEAN WHAT THE HELL? CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR MONEYGRAM IS TERRIBLE AND I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO USE. I WILL MAKE IT A POINT IN SHARING WITH ALL MY FRIENDS & FAMILY!

Nolonger a good way to send money as it used to be. I have a bad experience with there service. The receiver is told to call them first before they release the money, and that call takes more than an 1hr to get a response that is if you get one. If you are in emergency and you don’t want to stress your loved ones don’t use MoneyGram. Poor service, rough. Worldremit and WesternUnion yaa yes a way to go. The receiver still was not able to collect the money. Too much Fraud. Fraud Alert ?.Don’t give your loved ones high blood pressure buy sending them money with MoneyGram, it may not be today but you will have that bad experience some day.They won’t refund your money.

Today I went to try and send my son whom resides in Texas some money because for some reason they denied a transaction that I sent to a friend in another country, to see if it would go through. Long story short as I was about to press the submit button, I noticed my address had been changed to one in North Carolina; thinking I was tripping i went back to look at my profile and it came up under a womans name ( Shannon Cox). I was able to see all her personal information, transactions, as we as her credit card information. It frightened me because I thought if I could see her all the person's info then it maybe possible for someone else to see mines, so like a good Samaritan I call Moneygram to report it. I wasn't taken serious, the customer service agent didn't understand me so I ask for a supervisor. A woman from the escalations department supposedly took my report to open a case but she didn't ask me none of the other person's info so that they could contact them to let them know that there has been a security breach online and someone else saw all their info. I let her know I deleted all of my credit cards, and I didn't feel safe using them online again. Again I wasn't taking seriously, even though I told her that i worked in a IT Department and had to listen in on calls all day, and asked shouldn't our call be recorded. I would advise everyone from now on to be careful when sending money online with Moneygram. Make sure you check everything fully before submitting. O yeah and the so call fraud department dont even exist. Escalations are the mangers, supervisors and the fraud department in one.

I tried to send money to pay my bill and one of your representatives get on the phone and said my name is coming up with I can't be able to say nothing because they don't want me to say anything because it's got to do with something came up with my name first of all I never did anything in my life so I don't know what are you talking about my name at saying that you knew you guys cancel my app I never did nothing to your company but pay bills with your company and I know no none of that b******* going on and I appreciate you saying that about my name slandered my name like that and I will be having a lawyer to come talk to you guys about slander my f****** name.And I don't appreciate y'all not have a corporate number to leave a message or to have anything to talk to someone about anything that's going on I don't understand what the hell is going on with your company but Charlie nothing but fraught yeah worth it in the average m*********** Keep my motherfucking name out your motherfucking mouth because you don't even f****** know me. Point blank f****** dead slandering my f****** name like that

I would NEVER recommend anyone to use MoneyGram They don't care about their customers & allow elderly widows to get scammed out of almost $1700.00 which could have been avoided if it didn't take 7 hours to get them on the phone! They are rude and refused to help!
