We’ve shopped at Pet Supplies Plus for years, mostly at the Frisco location and occasionally at Prosper-Windsong. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which we appreciate.
Unfortunately, we’ve repeatedly had issues with items ringing up higher than the shelf price. Sometimes products are also placed incorrectly, creating more confusion. Staff will fix it if we catch it in the moment, but often we don’t realize until after leaving.
The final straw came during the Dogust Birthday Bash, which advertised 30% off toys and treats that fit in a bag. None of the discounts applied at checkout. When we questioned it, the cashier gave multiple contradictory explanations, even after we showed photos of the correct pricing. There was no clear resolution, and we left feeling frustrated.
We wanted to continue supporting this local store, but the repeated pricing problems and lack of resolution have lost our trust. Sadly, we’ll be shopping elsewhere moving forward.

beyond frustrated with this store. this is my go to location and I will 100% never shop here again. 5 separate times items I have brought home have had bugs in them. the manager has been great and refunded etc. That is great… except this time my pantry is now infested with the said bugs. I thought it was only in their dog cookies, to my surprise after just putting my dogs food in their bowls there are bugs in their food, looked in the sealed plastic container their food is kept in and there are tons of webs from these bugs as well as larva. Absolutely disgusting and beyond frustrating. The comments they have made to me are that the warehouse they buy from is infested, to which now their customers homes are infested. Not to mention some time back when I was in the store looking at their fresh bone section by the front, there were bugs crawling all over them ( I quietly put it in their trash and did not say anything thinking it was a fluke at the time). I would not suggest anyone shop here until they get this under control. I have send photos to corporate to which they responded that this is an individually owned store aka nothing will be done clearly

Pet Supplies Plus is by far the best Pet stores ever as I’ve shopped at them for MANY YEARS! The sales are amazing, the prices, free samples on a regular basis. My favorite two stores are as follow. In Frisco the one on Eldorado, and the location in Prosper on 380!

NO! They cut my poor baby’s ear when trying to give him a trim. My baby was moving around because he was SCARED and whoever was handling the scissors was being so CARELESS AND CUT.HIS.EAR. IN HALF. Then they had to wrap his poor little ear AND head in some gauze/bandage and he had to be put on antibiotics that gave him diarrhea and made him extra drowsy!!! Pet Supplies Plus is LUCKY we didn’t SUE.

Lots of variety of food and toys. I love the dog washing station. It has elevated platforms so that your back doesn't hurt, a variety of shampoos, dryers, towels, and best of all aprons so the humans don't smell like dogs when done ?. I would recommend the Dirty Dog Discount pack. You can save 40%.
