Not worth the price and definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. It acts more like a play museum for very young kids rather than a Science museum. Materials from various stations were missing.
I would recommend this for toddlers and for first graders at best. This place is small and my 7 year old who loves Science found this extremely boring.
They also do timed entry but no one checks when you enter.
This experience makes me question the quality of the other museums in the building.

Small but filled with lots of stations to play.
We spent about 1.5 hours in there, not crowded on Sunday.
Clean, organized.
Wish they can open earlier than 12pm.
Restrooms are outside of the center.

I brought my granddaughter while fall break in Plano was going on and had an awesome time exploring with her. As a 5 year old it’s important to have interactive experiences. We went when it opened so it wasn’t crowded and we weren’t rushed off of each adventure. She absolutely love it. She didn’t want to leave. The area with the teacher and hands on learning was the best part. She was amazing. I’d say this would be a great space to bring your children.

Very interactive but low staff keeps the place a little messy and some supplies unavailable without tracking down an employee

The science experiment choices are excellent with plenty to explore and learn but most could use an overhaul, anything that uses wooden pieces are worn out and if an image is on them, it's faded out. Again, poorly maintained, there's cracked and broken parts/sections on tubing and such. The little grocery market is cute and spacious but needs a good cleaning and part replacement because the wear & tare mas maxxed. The learning tools at every section is great and fun, kids will love it and learn but just a refreshment on parts would bring it up to date for safety and enjoyment. Saw one staff during our vist, at least she was friendly. Clean bathrooms so that was great. Not too busy for an afternoon weekday visit and the place is spacious. I look forward to visiting again but not before it's cleaner and updated.

Dirty, broken unstocked.
Sorry! Don't pay for the science area

We had our son’s 4th birthday party here and the whole group enjoyed the place and the demos. Price was reasonable. It wasn’t crowded on a Sunday which was nice.
I also sent my daughter for summer camp. Price was not cheap but she enjoyed it a lot so it’s fine.

Well, the staff are nice...
I don't know how else to put this but it feels almost like a bunch of jury rigged activities that have been set up at a swap meet or stadium-side event.
The inside is very depressing and cobbled-together looking. Several of the "experiments" are in a state of disrepair or don't work in an expected way which was disappointing for my kids.
If you are an adult there is probably very little here that will excite you or even compel you to participate in with your children. Their "game" area in the back looks like the remains of an abandoned pre-school.
As an example there is the kids' microscope. The containers that hold the materials to zoom in on are so scuffed up that you can't really focus on anything.
My kids DID have fun but it was the same sort of fun they could have gotten for free somewhere else. I asked them afterward if they would ever want to go back and it was a resounding NO.
To make matters worse there is the National Video Game Museum right next to it and the professional looking displays as well as the decor really outshine this place to the point where I would go as far as saying that it is a blemish on the entire facility.
From a business owner perspective the place seems overstaffed considering the state of things. Also, having a lot of experience in successful AND failed businesses, this place has all the tell-tale signs of "just scraping by". I suggest halving the staff and putting money into bringing all the activities to full working order and then adding several attractions that will draw new people in. What surprises me is that a lot of schools and day care centers use this place as a go-to. Where is the money going? None of my business of course but it is something to think about.

Place is a dump. Most of the displays are in total disrepair. Not worth the $10 per person.

Came here with my three year old son to see if he liked it enough to have his 4th birthday here. We showed up on a Saturday when they opened up and the place looked like it was hit by a tornado. Nothing was organized. Some stations didn't have instructions. Some stations were missing pieces to the experiment. One station was supposed to use a beach ball, but the ball was deflated. The giant bubble solution had a few dead flies.
We didn't stay long. We asked the staff (who were friendly) how often they clean the place and they said once a week on Sundays. This place needs daily cleaning if it looks like this.
We won't be having my son's birthday here and I would not recommend this place to anyone. This place has great potential, but fell way short.

We visited the first time for my daughter's first grade field trip. The place was LOUD and chaotic as more than 2 schools were there. We could hardly hear the presenter ( she was great). A lot of the stations were not working, or broken. For example, the grocery store station was a mess and nothing was in order. We had to eat lunch outside. You can be done with the whole place in less than an hour. It's more age appropriate for 5-7 year old in my opinion. I believe they should have more staff on the actual floor.

Honestly feels like a waste even of just 20 bucks, my wife and I took our toddler here and we left 10 minutes after paying. It's so gross, I mean there were bugs on the food toys and this place clearly gets no attention, in desperate need of a paint job. There is 1 single person cleaning after the kids and so most of the exihbts are totally unusable
