The store is friendly because everything is overpriced they will greet you, since they need customers, but It's a dirty unkept makeup store. Everything is high priced even a sponge will cost you $20.00 or more. The make up testers are all used and dirty. I wouldn't touch a single thing to try on at a store where everybody has touched and sampled on their face and lips. If you want to overpay for make up and skin products that's your business, but it's just make up not gold. At least Avon used to give you small lipstick samples and perfume samples you could take home and try. Notice at most drug stores you can't sample anything. Everything is shut tight because of health reasons, sick people come into the store. I wouldn't want to sample anything a sick person is touching, or testing. I prefer it that way. Sephora wants you to play with their makeup at your own risk in order to make a sell. Not for me.

Horrific/Violent/Frightening customer service self-pickup experience this evening 8/1/2023, 9:30PM CT at the Kohl/Frisco location. First time used the online self pick-up at the store. When arrived at CS counter at the back of the store, the old lady (in her 60s) was extremely harsh, rude, agitated like we were bothering her. Abruptly told me and my husband to READ the sign it’s self-service. Told her the email is asking for the passcode, no additional specific instructions on where to get the passcode other than ask customer service. Asked her politely to help me to get passcode. She said the number really fast where I couldn’t understand it. I’m dyslexic so I asked her to repeat it slowly again. In a flustered way, said the number really fast. Repeatedly in a rude, demeaning tone of voice, told us, Self-service PickUp, go READ the sign ourselves, number is out there. So confused, what number she was talking about, the bin, huh? She keeps saying in ‘there’. Instead of walking us through the process, she was getting upset and short with us for NOT knowing what to do like we were bothering her and there’s not even a line just us. Asked again in a calm voice, where is the sign? She keeps saying in a very flustered tone, ‘over there’, ‘over there’. So when I went around the corner, finally found it as she keeps saying ‘over there see red sign’ and eventually found it. The 1-2-3 instruction was plastered on the wall .Ah I see. I didn’t know that’s the instruction as it’s in the same pick up area as Amazon. The Kohls’ email instruction didn’t say that - it says ask customer service for assistance for passcode. This time, my husband told her that she didn’t have to yell and be rude to us, we didn’t know the process, this is all new to us. Expecting to receive clear customer service assistance not verbally get attack and get yelled at. She got more angry, became more violent, shouting with full of rage and hate. My little boy and I got really scared, shocked and shaken of what just happened. I wanted to call 911 inside the store. I was going to cry and asked another associate for help. Thought the crazy lady was going to physically hurt us as she started flailing her arms up in the air like she wants to have a fist fight and pissing contest. Told my husband - let’s go. It’s not safe here. Unprofessional people work here. So we went to the store front and talked to the store manager and reported this incident. We received an apology from the store manager (white male) and will handle the matter right away. Store manager was calm and very apologetic. He said this is not acceptable and will talk to the worker right away. This old lady is not safe to be in a customer-facing job, seems like she has some kind of mental health issue or anger management issue she needs to addressed. Very unprofessional and uncivilized manner. Shocked and in disbelief of the treatment we received at kohls /frisco customer service. Highly suggest this incident should be taken seriously and investigated. Perhaps for legal. We left the store NOT feeling safe and all shakenUp. I’m sure there’s a store camera that kohl management can watch to investigate this incident for Lessons Learned or performance improvement opportunity. We bought almost $500 with of clothes online and this is what we get for that? Totally unacceptable.

The return linear the Preston Rd store is beyond. 14 minutes in line, 2 cashiers with what seems to be a floor supervisor just watching the world go by.
