I started exercising in west Frisco location about six months and I am training with Pierre almost five months ago as my personal trainer . My goal initially was to gain weight and muscles . I have already gained 6Ibs and some muscles in these five months. This is down to Pierre and his vast knowledge of fitness and dietary needs. I would like to thank Pierre for his hard work to keep challenging me. He is wonderful! He motivates me and he has really kept me moving. Pierre is very personable and knowledgeable, I am so pleased with him and with the results that I am achieving. I highly recommend him, My husband used to train with another trainer in this gym but wasn't satisfied and didn't see the results then He stopped work out. Now after seeing a lot of changes in my body shape and the muscles that I gained, He changed his trainer and started with Pierre and I am sure my husband will reach his desired weight and shape ! Well done, Pierre.

Almost every cable has a hitch in it. Gym is so trash that broken equipment is the norm. Don't go down the street to the colony one either, as it's not much better, but I'll at least give that one 2 stars.

I've been here almost 3 months and probably no less than 3 machines are broken at a time and it's takes them months to fix. Not enough equipment for them to not care to fix them. They don't sweep the fitness room, dust and hair all over which you don't want to be sitting in. Bugs in the locker rooms. Low price gym but that's the only upside.

Son joined for the summer. Before he left for college he cancelled. In September I saw a charge from them so I called as to why I was getting charged after he cancelled. They said because of 30 day cancellation so that month would be the last. 2 months later they're still charging 5.49 or something like that. Called again and they said he paused, not cancelled his membership. There was no mention of the pause in the first phone call and no way my son would intentionally pause because he was leaving the state. But he signed not paying attention. Fine. So husband went in person to cancel. They said you'll probably get charged another month so he paid them again $5.49 (or something around that) in cash and we cancelled the credit card. They're still charging me. Called again and they said they didn't receive two months membership fee. I replied you mean when his membership was paused??? Why would he owe the monthly fee if his membership was paused? Front desk person got flustered and then said he couldn't explain it and said corporate would have to explain it. Called corporate and left a message but no return call. Cancelling the card worked but I assume they'll send it to collections. After 3 phone calls it's apparent the local employees don't understand the policies. I've been a member of gyms before and most of them make it hard to cancel but if you want to cancel you should be able to without being charged months later. Son canceled Aug 1st and I'm still dealing with this in December. Who has time for this! Stay away from this place. I'd recommend 24 hour fitness. You can pause and cancel on phone and you don't need a degree in double-speak to understand the policies.

Janice Reid and Elicia Durham are the absolute BEST coaches. They take their time and show you the proper way to lift or whatever areas you’re struggling in. I feel great after working out I’ve made this part of my routine for sure ??

Nice gym. Nearby alot of residential areas. Affordable memberships. Lots of different classes, personal training, massage chairs, and child care. I like that it’s always busy so I can blend in with the crowd.

I would give this gym ZERO stars if I could. They are absolutely terrible and rob you of your money! I cancelled my membership in 2021 and they STILL charge me every month. I cancelled EXACTLY how they require, which is to go in person and sign a cancellation form, and they never filed or processed it!!! They are continuing to charge me for a membership I haven’t used in YEARS. I’ve disputed this MULTIPLE times with my bank AND called customer service but they are unable to help me because they have to confirm with the gym directly who won’t answer their phone or respond to emails! Customer service literally can’t do anything to cancel my membership and it’s absolutely ridiculous as I do not live nearby AND haven’t gone in YEARS. I hope this place gets shut down but it probably won’t because I’m sure they are wrongfully charging hundreds of clients. STAY AWAY!!

So I had an card change due to my card on file being compromised. I was already going to another gym, I decided to just let my membership lapse.Well Family Fitness decided to send my account to collections over a minimal amount. Unreal, I can't believe the absurdity of sending to collections when I was even going to the gym. Never step foot in that gym again and tell everyone I know to avoid.

Customer service is worst means very very bad. Most of the front desk they are not educated and don’t know how to behave, one of the lady front desk she also gym here looks like it is her properties, she doesn’t care anything about customer service or any issue raised by customer. All are lier, if ask anything at front desk says, they don’t have any solution forward to Manager and if ask Manager then forward to General Manager but ultimately no solution on any problem or questions, their main target is create a membership and take the credit cards after that they keep charging from your card, no service no solution for anything. I would like to request to authorize management people, please read the all reviews and look into the issue otherwise you definitely will not run for longer

Understand you will pay a monthly membership fee and also a yearly membership fee. The yearly fee is billed 35 days after you sign up and they don’t tell you about it. Surprise!!Believe the reviews about being charged excessively, believe they will keep annual fee although you are canceling within same week of being charged annual fee, no proration. Believe you get charged at least two months after canceling.

Texas Family Fitness makes it almost impossible to cancel memberships. You have to go to the physical location or write a letter!!! In 2023!I drove 2hrs to cancel my membership and my sons. I electronically signed all the documents and was told they would be cancelled in 30 days. However, 60 days later after I received a collections call, I learn that that my sons membership hadn’t been properly cancelled. I called and according to their corporate customer service, It was my responsibility to ensure that their representative did all the necessary steps to cancel both my membership and my sons.This is terrible customer service! They expect the customer to have an intimate knowledge of their internal processes and systems. And now I am being penalized for their mistake.How would I know that I instead of signing 4 signatures electronically I was supposed to sign 8?!!! I am beyond frustrated with this complete lack of customer service and accountability. I did my part. Not they need to do theirs.

Horrible service!! I cancelled our membership in Jan 2023. was told the draft in Feb would still go through since I did not give a full 30 day notice so we could use they gym through then, I had explained to the girl at the desk that my husband was having knee replacement surgery Feb 6th so WE and I emphasized WE would not be coming any more. Six months later I receive a debt collection letter. After many calls to TFF, 3 weeks later a "manager" calls and says my husband's account was not cancelled. I explained to her again I requested our account be cancelled. She said I only signed for mine, again never was told by their person there were 2 accounts.She said your husband was left voicemails & emails. I again said he had surgery so he was not in the frame of mind to check these and even if he did he most likely did not think he needed to address this because I had told him I cancelled the membership. She rudely said it does not matter we owe the money. NO COMPASSION DEFINATELY NEED TO TEACH AND TRAIN THEIR STAFF TO BE MORE INTUITIVE!! I will never go there again.

The gym is fine, nothing exciting. But the customer service is terrible. I came in and signed a cancellation in September 2022 and they never processed it. When I just noticed they were still billing me, I emailed them and they said there is nothing they can do. They have been charging me for 10 months that I haven’t attended, and I had done what I was supposed to do. Apparently it’s “my fault” that they lost my cancellation request and didn’t process it.I wish I had read the other reviews before joining. It appears they have a habit of losing peoples cancellation requests and continuing to charge people.

This gym does not respect the customer, they do not fulfill what they promise, and they eat your money. My friends signed up for this gym because of a "promotion," and motivated by them, I decided to do the same. However, the amount charged was never the promotional price. I tried to resolve this countless times until I decided to cancel my membership. I canceled it on the same day they charged me for another month. I asked them to ensure that the membership was canceled and that they wouldn't debit any further, as I read the reviews and saw that they have the habit of charging even after cancellation. They assured me that everything was fine, but they continue to debit. This gym lacks responsibility and commitment to its customers. I'm extremely disappointed, and if you want to avoid stress, I suggest going to a better gym that respects its clients

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACEThey are greedy greedy greedy.They will try to schedule you for a personal fitness eval so they feel useful.When we went to cancel they slapped two annual fees of $59 on.This place has bad karma coming.They also own the collection agency that comes for you when you own them!!!Seems super illegal if not definitely shady business practice!
