I've taking vehicles to get services to 3rd Street for years excellent work in the past, but it has come to an end. Had vehicle towed to location for trouble shoot for knocking noise. 2xmonths later it has not been looked at...kept calling for updates and no answer. I kept getting the runaround when I arrived in person for update. Power went out, lift machine stopped working, mechanic at the hospital, awaiting special tool to arrive..etc. Very Disappointed, NO LONGER RECOMMEND.

Went in to have my tire leak checked. They told me to come back tomorrow as they ran out of plugs. The next day the guy I met at the counter plain and simple said go to Discount Tire as he didnt have time to help me.
If you don't want to do tires that's fine but please say so in the first place instead of giving people the runaround.

My 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 turbo diesel had a transmission/torque converter issue. I wanted to keep my original transmission. Nolan rebuilt it with better parts and extra clutch disc. This 47RE has been awesome at shifting with better response than factory. I have a new found repair shop… referred to my friends as well. Thanks Nolan and staff! Well done!

Extremely knowledgeable, honest and affordable! Fixed my classic 4-Speed transmission with no fear or hesitation. Glad other mechanics downtown recommended Nolan to me. I’ll be back!

I’ve now been to 3rd Street garage several times. They worked on my brakes and when the pads had a problem they just fixed it, no fuss, no muss, no extra cost. They even offered to replace lug nuts that were worn out- and not by them!
What impressed me though was the honesty and integrity that I saw in each interaction. It’s a small family shop and when I explained that I was having an issue they worked at it until it was perfect and stepped me through every step of what they were trying.
You know how when you buy a new car and it’s recommended you take it to a mechanic you trust to look it over? Well, I’ve found mine. I trust these guys. They were honest, didn’t rob me, and made sure that the work they did met the highest bar. I will be using them for years to come.

I've always had a good experience with this business. Today I took my Lexus sedan in to have the driver's side heat shield above the muffler re-secured. Sewell Lexus wanted to charge me $550 took it to 3rd Street Garage and after visually inspecting they did it for 1 hour of Labor saving me a considerable amount of money. I find this business to be very honest and reasonable . A valuable asset to our community.

Tried to scam me for thousands of dollars when all I needed was a simple alignment. Do not go here. DO NOT. They will take advantage of you and think you are dumb.

I've been coming here on the recommendation of a coworker since moving to the area in 2020. Michael is an honest man and I enjoy doing business with him. A word of advice: please make sure that your vehicle is in decent enough shape to be worked on, one morning when coming in for an oil change, state inspection, or whatever it was, a previous customer left a bag of garbage with maggots crawling all over/out of it. It stank up the whole area and was most unpleasant and unsightly. Do your due-diligence for Michael, and he'll do good work for you!

Michael is honest, fair and he stands by his service. I have always driven 10-20 yr-old cars and for the last 5 years he has done everything to my cars from oil changes to AC repair. I have never been "surprised" by the final bill because he always calls me with a solid estimate after he diagnoses the issue and before repairs start. He has a convenient "night drop" so you can leave your car after work. Michael's 3rd Street Garage is the only auto repair shop I will ever recommend.
