I was disappointed with the service provided by the gas station attendant on November 13, 2025 at approximately 4:45 PM.
While refueling my vehicle, the pump became unresponsive for several minutes. I entered the store to request that the attendant reset it. He was listening to music through earphones and initially did not hear me, appearing irritated when I repeated my request. After I returned to my vehicle, he followed me outside. By that time, the pump had reset itself and returned to the main screen.
As I inserted my credit card and began entering my phone number for the rewards program, the attendant raised his hand toward my face to signal me to stop. I calmly informed him that this gesture was impolite and that there are more respectful ways to communicate such a request. He responded by stating that if I wanted his assistance, I must accept it on his terms. I clarified that I did not require his help—only that he perform his assigned duties.
I frequently shop at Tom Thumb and value the convenience of your location; however, customers should not be made to feel as though they are inconveniencing staff by expecting basic service. With numerous fueling alternatives available, I hope this feedback prompts a review of employee conduct. You should be able to identify the attendant on duty at that time through your scheduling records, he needs some customer service training.

I was very disappointed with the way I was treated at this gas station. I went in to pay cash and there was no one at the counter. I waited a few moments, looked around, said “hello?” a few times with no answer. There was a restroom and I knocked on it, figuring maybe the attendant didn’t hear. No response, so I went back and waited. The attendant eventually came out. I didn’t respond in a mean or snotty way, just waited until he was finished. He said in a very condescending tone, “Do I not deserve to use the restroom?” I didn’t understand, and he repeated himself, again very condescendingly. I responded, “Of course you do, I just didn’t know if anyone was here since so few people pay cash.” He grunted and I left. The response was an overreaction when I wasn’t acting annoyed or put out in any way. I thought maybe there was no attendant on staff. I will not be back, and I hope the attendant can learn kindness.

Takes u about 2 minutes to get these very slow machines to take your member number. If u want to purchase smokes or a drink good luck. No variety inside this little shop and they r gone with a “be back soon” sign up about 10% of the time. And if u want to get beer….. too bad. They dont have that and will tell u to go to the full store.

Hadn't pumped here in over a year. They have new pumps, so I gave them a try, even after being warned that the buttons and screen are extremely clumsy. Of course, the buttons and touch screen are useless. Never thought I would say this, Walmart is more efficient!

The most basic task for a gas station is making sure the pumps are in good working order, number one on the good working order list is keeping receipt paper in every pump all the time!

Waited over 45 minutes for my medication just to get banned at the end of it. After days of being delayed my medication was promised to be ready "the next day" Once I showed up it was, you guessed it, delayed till the next day. At this point I refused to leave until I got my medication. 45 minutes later somehow I got all of my medication. Surprised to see they had it since it had to be picked up the next day? Once I was handed my meds I got banned from picking up my medication at this Tom Thumb, I agreed it wouldn't happen. I wouldn't shop / get your medication here. Especially if you need your medication on time it won't happen

The worst app now. In the past you could make a list and clip coupons and refer to them while in the store. You could even scan items at the store to add the coupon for the item you wanted if you grew weary of looking through all the coupons before going to the store. Now, if you try to look at anything on the app while in the store, it is useless because a message appears that there are network problems. So now I seldom make the effort to go to Tom Thumb because it is so frustrating.

Watch out for their advertised and shelf price compared to what you get charged. I was overcharged .38 (and don't really care) and brought it to the attention of customer service so they could fix. She looked at me like I was crazy and made no effort to reach in the cash drawer and hand me the change. Needless to say, didn't apologize. I wasn't going to spend one second more seeking a refund for the overcharge. The time and effort they go through to make it hard to get your money is not worth it. Who knows how much overcharging goes on without customer knowledge.

The Tom Thumb Pharmacy in Frisco on 423 is the worst ever. 8 days ago my doctor contacted them for a new 90 day RX. I have been there 3 times to pick it up and am given 3 at a time. 3 trips without anyone calling, emailing or texting me, even though I was promised on Saturday the full RX would be filled today. Make no mistake, they have filed this with my insurance. When I told them that I didn't want to come back again for the 4th time and asked them to deliver, they asked for my credit card to charge me for the delivery. They have 60 of the 90 day RX in stock, but only give me 3n at a time. My prescriptions also cost me a lot more here than my last pharmacy. IF I can ever get this one filled, not only has Tom Thumb lost me as a pharmacy customer, but store customer as well. Goodbye Tom Thumb and HELLO H.E.B! Thankfully they open tomorrow!

No issues with this visit. I had to use their air machine for a low tire. They have a newer machine with easy to use setup.
