I visited this store at 9:50 am on a Sunday. I do not do self-checkout because I don’t work there, I want to go to a store, present the items I wish to purchase, you tell me what that cost and I will then pay for it. I asked the employee, Kaylynn, if there was a register open and she told me that self checkout was my only option. I told Kaylynn I dont do self checkout and she said she was sorry to hear that and offered no other option. I have been shopping at Safeway for 30 years. These decisions by your company are detrimental. I left my cart there, walked out, and drove to Kroger. Your policy must include an open register at all times. I will not be back for some time.

I’m gonna give this a three stars because it is a beautiful brand new store however the staff is not the friendliest. I also just found out they don’t have a water dispenser for the 5 gallon water. So now I’m headed to H-E-B to fill My 5 gallon buckets and see what else they have on special this week.

Have been here multiple times and have not ever been acknowledged by any associates, even if there are barely any customers in the store. Also I bought a product here the other day and it expired in march of 2025 and is completely molded inside. Why was it on the shelf? Love Tom Thumb but this location sucks.

This store is still pretty new, and it's clean. So far, it's been fairly uncrowded when I've come. The prices, however, are higher than what I'd expect. I used to think Market Street was pricey but at this point I think maybe not. This store has a floral area, deli, a Starbucks, a gas station, a bakery area, and what seems to be an extended alcohol section. What I do NOT like is that there's usually only 1 checkout lane open, unless you want to do self-checkout, which I won't. And, nearly every time it seems like my stuff would get bagged faster if I just did it myself. I came here initially a few times due to the nice "we're now open!" coupons that came in the mail, but I'm afraid the honeymoon's over.

Nice clean store with good weekly sales. Unfortunately, a lot of the time the sale prices don't ring up correctly and you get charged the regular price. When you point this out to customer service they act like your are wasting their time.

Went into today to grab a few things. They had this really loud Indian music blaring and they gave me a headache. Whose idea was it to play music that loud? Unprofessional and unnecessary. I wanted to grocery shop and not attend a club 🙄

I absolutely love this store. The manager makes my visit every time she is absolutely the best. Tammy Aoughsten is such a joy. Very personable, and I love the relationship she has with the young staff. Store always has great sales fruit is always fresh.

So I love having this new Tom Thumb so close. Do I wish their bakery was better? YES. Do I wish they had a bigger produce section/options? Heck yeah! But the convenience and the service I cannot complaint. But what I love the most is their pharmacy. The service and attention and care my whole family has received from the pharmacist and the rest of the staff is incredible. I have never experienced treatment like that from any pharmacy before. Walgreens/CVS are simply the worst! So they are getting all my love because they do an amazing job in that pharmacy.

Horrible service. They are super slow and you can’t find anyone to assist you. When you do, they must be so busy that they don’t have time to show you where an item is. Malloy would rather talk to the vendor than acknowledge a customer.

This is new store, very convenient, but their POS wouldn't process their digital or main in coupons properly, cashiers are unable to override and managers are alway never available to help out. I wouldn't come back if this wasn't too convenient grocery store near me.
