I would not recommend this bank at all, I took a check from one of their customers and they refused to cash it. I offered my drivers license , social security and anything else they might want. They said I would have to drive back on a weekday and walk into the lobby to cash the check. I told them it would be the same drivers license and social security that day as it was the day I was there and those things do not change but they still refused to cash it. I lost over $50 in fuel to try to cash a check written on their own bank. With my experience I would not even give one star but you cannot post if you do not at least give one star.

I have banked at many different banks over the years and FSB is probably the most personal, and caring bank I have ever experienced. If there is a problem, they will stick with you till its resolved. They are a small bank that doesn't have some of the on line banking resources that a Bank of America or Chase has, but they make up for it by answering the phone when you need them, greeting you by name when you walk in their bank, and handling any concerns immediately when they occasionally come up. And the bank president at the California (main branch) is outstanding! 5 Stars!

I’ve had an account with this bank for almost 20 years and only experienced frustration through all of it. It’s perfectly acceptable to put money in but when it comes to wanting to use your own money they treat you like a child having to ask to use it. Their ATM withdrawal limits are awful and the ATM’s seem to be out of order often. Trying to pay your bills online? - if it’s an average amount of money in today’s time you’re gonna have to call first to see if it’s okay. I’ve even had them call me for monitoring how I use my own money in perfectly legal ways and ask me about it simply because they didn’t like it. I would complain about the ATM’s being out of date but they finally caught up with other banks after being behind 10 years. You get a very annoying text message every single time you use your debit card somewhere asking if it was you and if you don’t respond they will lock your card until you do. You wouldn’t think being secure is a bad thing but they take it too far.

Has been an awful experience lately! Their systems are slow and it causes me to lose access to my money regularly and then I can never get anyone on the phone. I have no access to my money even though their app says I have plenty right now.
