WORST WORK MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENT TO WORK AT.

I would NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK! I visited this banking institution to get change for $100 bill. It was the worse experience imaginable. First off the teller was rude, stating if I did not have an account that he would not be able to make change. I told him that I was from out of town trying to help my daughter move and my closest bank was 45 mins away. He told me that was not his problem. I asked to speak with the branch manager and was told they were not on site. I requested to speak with the assistant branch manager and he said, “she will tell you exactly what I told you.” I asked to speak with her regardless. I saw him walk into an office and he came back and said, “ she is busy with another customer and cannot speak to you. She said we cannot help you.” I asked for the number to call back. The teller walked around the bank to an empty desk and pulled out a business card and handed it to me. I thanked him. When I looked over at the assistant manger’s office, she was standing there texting on her phone. No one was in the office nor was she on the phone!I would NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SIMMONS BANK! NO INTEGRITY!You are a banking institution, you should help the people in your community because it reflects upon your business ethics! When I called the number on the business card, it went to a random voicemail.Note: When I walked in there was only one customer in the whole bank, that ought to tell you what their community thinks about doing business with them as well!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I also called their main banking customer service over 3 days ago and still have not received a call back!

This bank is not the place to have your money. If you are a veteran or active service member this MOST certainly not the place to bank at. Couple years ago while I was in basic training the buyout by Simmons of landmark bank happened. Immediately my card didn’t work and I didn’t have access to purchase my haircuts or personal hygiene items. Resulting in me to have to open an USAA account. My card began working 3 weeks later. To which I began pulling cash out and making cashier checks to put in my USAA account. Thankfully I had good leadership who helped me get money taken care of. Also when I banked with Landmark I did not have overdraft protection for the reason of possibly losing my card and someone running up my account. When the buyout happened 2 services I cancelled attempted to charge my account with now Simmons. Simmons allowed the transactions to go through whilst my account was at 0.00 due to me transferring it to my now USAA account. The 2 services allowed put my Simmons account negative approximately $120. I couldn’t close my Simmons account due to me being in basic. I was also never notified that these charges went through until I was being contacted constantly by a collection service. Which now has hurt my credit score. I attempted to call the branch manager in Gainesville after receiving more info from the collection service to which the woman I spoke with was beyond disrespectful to me when I attempted to figure out what the issue was. Eventually she told me about the 2 charges listed above. She had absolutely no respect for the situation I was in and acted as if I could’ve controlled what happened whilst being 3 states away in basic. She also tried to blame Landmark bank for the issue. My family had used landmark for 10 years and none of us had issues. My family all ran into issues when the buyout happened as well. Please do not use any Simmons bank.

When this was Landmark Bank things were so very much different. It's like it went from the best to the worst overnight. There are a couple of nice people who work there. And that's about all the good I can say about this place. I also bank elsewhere thankfully.

First they get rid of the remote tellers and DON'T replace them. The only option is the commercial lane. Now they're closed completely on Saturdays.Horrible bank.

This Bank has some of the best employees that I have ever had the pleasure of getting a loan or any banking done with.

I'd give negative if I could. The Drive thru hasn't worked since Simmons took over. The people are usually nice but it takes an hour just to make a withdrawal. I can't even make deposits rn without having to come inside and waiting to be acknowledged. As soon as I can actually get access to my money I'm switching banks. This is ridiculous, 3rd time bills have been late bc of them. Get it together guys

Since the switch from Landmark to Simmons it's been horrible. I look at the online banking regularly and its always got something wrong with it. I have talked to someone at the Bank and she says it's just a glitch. Well how does it keep happening every week? I am changing banks as soon as the lobby is open again in the banks. The only way someone from the bank will speak to you is if you go thru the commercial lanes and the get mad at you if your not a commercial account. When I have tried to call my local bank it ALWAYS goes to the Bank in a different state and they say to call back and talk to your local bank BUT they NEVER answer

Since Landmark sold to Simmons, the experience has been horrible. That is unfortunate because a lot of really good people still work there. The ones that havent left anyway. Took more time to get my money out of Simmons than it did to open a new account at another local bank. Horrible since the takeover! Going through the drive thru? Better have 30 mins to wait!

I miss Landmark! Simmons is terrible. Their ATM hasn't worked in months and takes an hour to get through the line!! Ridiculous!

Every since this bank has switched from Landmark to Simmons, it has been horrible. You can never speak to anyone regarding your account. You are sent to voicemails, which are full, and unable to leave messages. The customer service at the 800 number is the worst I have ever experienced. I have been calling for two days and nothing. There have been two emails sent and still zero response. I can't wait to get my account closed and I guess I will have to travel an hour and a half just to do that and wait in a long line of other people complaining as well. This is ridiculous! Take note, do not open an account or do any business with this bank!
