I drove to McCoys from Sanger to pick up some Cedar lumber to complete a project. They showed online that they had sizes in stock that other lumber yards closer did not carry or were out of stock.
McCoy’s had what I wanted and had sufficient stock so I could select what I wanted.
The lady at checkout was friendly and efficient.

If there was an option for zero stars, that’s what I would be pressing. The manager just did not care about the broken part on my window never once checked up on the process of the broken window. And then I was left for over a week waiting on a window. While I had guys on the job site ready to go. They continue to push me back push me back. And honestly whenever you buy a $900 window you would expect to have updates on the broken window. None whatsoever. Do not order windows from Mccoys or anything of that matter.

They are helpful at every turn. If you can’t find something they are right there to help. Their prices are pretty good as well and though what they offer in story is limited they can usually get most things ordered and sent to you.

Have always had a great experience at McCoys in Gainesville Texas but today I encountered the rudest employee. I purchased several sewer pipes after purchasing one earlier in the day. The employee, Karla M. Without any greeting told me the bar code would not scan before even trying. I told her it scanned earlier when I purchased one. She said something like “whatever” and did not try to scan the code. She looked up something on the computer and rang the rest of my items up. I paid and went to my truck. I double checked the receipt and discovered she charged me for Schedule 40 pipe which is $2.00 a pipe higher than sewer pipe. I returned to the store and told her about the discrepancy. Again, no greeting or acknowledgement, she just looked at the computer screen and told me that unless it was black lined pipe the price was correct. I walked back to the pipe rack and took a photo of the store tag that showed it was simple sewer pipe, not schedule 40 pipe or black lined pipe. I took it back to her and she glanced at the photo and typed more stuff on the computer and asked for my personal information which I assumed was for the refund of the difference, but she never told me that. After the transaction she asked if I wanted a copy of the new receipt and that was it. No apology for the mistake, no apology for me having to go back in the store. Not even a thank you when I left. McCoys needs to provide Karla M. With some customer service/people skills.

Purchased outdoor patio furniture that needed to be ordered. Susan turned it around very quickly, called me immediately upon its arrival and two team members helped me load into my truck. Never knew about this store prior to this but will definitely be back.
