I’ve been going to this Murphy’s twice a week for over 5 years and had the worst experience imaginable. I always buy my chewing tobacco from Murphy’s twice a week. Anyhow, I went into the store last night (4/2/2025) @ 10:58pm and purchased COPENHAGEN WINTERGREEN LONGCUT. I didn’t notice this until about an hour later when we returned home and my wife reached into the bag to get her redbull that I noticed I was given COPENHAGEN WINTERGREEN POUCHES. I contact Headquarters via email and they stated that it would be up to the manager’s discretion as to whether or not they would fixed their employee’s mistake of giving me the wrong product. So I went into today (4/3/2025) around 2pm and was told that “it is a federal law that I cannot exchange it”. After speaking to 2 Murphy HQ representatives I learned that it is NOT federal law and that the manager lied to me, right to my face. I will absolutely never step foot into a Murphy’s USA again.
How could they have fixed it? I see 2 ways. 1) exchanging the product for the product I paid for instead of me being out $40. Or 2) just give me a Murphy USA gift card for the amount and I can use that to buy the right product. It was their fault, not mine. I’ve never had this issue so I didn’t even think to check before leaving the store. Plus they look very similar anyway.
The worst part was the lying to my face after being a loyal customer of Murphy’s for well over a decade but a 5 year customer of this specific Murphy’s. I reported the manager and hopefully something will happen.

Tried 2 Different pumps on 2 different occasions and the keypads were out both times. I brought this to the attention of the employees and they said oh yeah they've been out for a while now.

The service is good never a problem always perfect and cheap in real life people that are real nice and courteous is there gas cannot be beat.

The workers there are great but 1and she scares me a little honestly!!! LoL but seriously you know who I'm talking about the short black headed one that's more than likely not smiling. I think she has a Gothicy rebel without a cause Vibe quality to her credits!!! She is knowledgeable about her Job and does them in a timely manner

Highly disrespectful staff the person behind the counter started being rude as soon as I walked in she started interrogating me about the reason that I needed gas following it with you wouldn't need gas if you stayed at home then she refused to get me a pack of cigarettes saying no you don't need them also her coworker was laughing the entire time all the way to the point I took my needs elsewhere

Refused to sell me cigarettes because my ID was out of date... Even though it doesn't change the fact that I am CLEARLY A FULL GROWN MAN WITH A BEARD. The law says I have to be able to prove that I'm over 21. It does not say anything about the form of ID being in date.
