About Noah's Ark Animal Shelter
Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing humane treatment for unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals in the Gainesville and Cooke County area. The shelter opened in February of 2006 and operates in cooperation with the City of Gainesville. It accommodates impounded animals and accepts pets relinquished by citizens. I was looking for a shelter to find a home for my cat. Tried several places but none were ready to host my cat. Somehow found this shelter and took her there. The staff were extremely helpful to accept the cat though I was early. The process was very smooth and impressive. Best experience ❤❤❤❤

My parents had to make a very difficult to surrender their elderly cat. Laura was so helpful in a very difficult time. I want to thank Noah’s ark for the incredible work they’re doing!
