“Just, picked up my truck after a reoccurring issue with the transmission torque converter cooler failing for the 2nd time. Brought my truck into PSP to have them look at it. Justin confirmed that it had failed but this time there was no damage to the transmission that I had them install 2 yrs ago. Justin, suggested we bypass the cooler all together and go a different route to make sure that this problem never happens again. I appreciate his help along with Richard in getting my truck back on the road. I have been a customer of theirs for the past couple of years and they have always been good to me.”

“Just know that CBA does not waive diagnostic fees if you use them to repair anything. Most shops I know of waive the diagnostic fees when you use them for the repair. Therefore, it’s more expensive at CBA.”

“First of all...Ton...(Owner) Exceeded expectations........went above and beyond at a seconds notice to help me get a vehicle towed in and repaired..so I can give this truck to my son by Christmas..had it done in 3 days...Great work...more than reasonable on price...as a former General Motors Master Technician who's too old to roll around on the ground and wrestle a transmission in and out of a vehicle...I can tell you for a fact. “I first called the shop and talked to a really nice guy name. Anthony expressed my concerns for my 2024 Prius trunk not opening. He said to come on in and they would take a look at it when I got there an awesome gentleman named John took time out of his day to help me figure the issue out. “No one wants to experience car problems however if and when I do I pray that I am close enough to go back to Rafael at J&I. That morning I found myself stranded because my starter went out. I called AAA to confirm and immediately start looking for shops nearby to get it towed. I checked around and thankfully found J&I Automotive. Rafael immediately answered with a friendly and courteous demeanor. I asked him for price of start repair and he quoted $420 (which was part $375 and labor). His price was the average price so I went with him. Upon arrival he greeted me with a smile, has the deepest dimples so you know he's not shady lol. I didn't feel like I was getting taken advantage of at all. He explained the turnaround time of July 5 in the am. Of course I didn't expect him to work on July 4th (next day) so I wasn't expecting a quick turnaround. Fortunately, Just like he estimated my car was ready the next day after the holiday at 9:11am! I love how they email you when your vehicle is ready along with the invoice to pay. This seamless process is great because once you review invoice (itemized) you just pickup car once you arrive. They also accept AMEX ! The lady that worked in office was also great, I didn't get her name but she was so politely. I felt good about everything. I recommended my sister to him because I feel he will get the job done quick fast and with a honest policy. I hope I won't be back for obvious reasons but if I do need auto repair, I'm coming back.”

He gave me a timeframe and followed through exactly as he said. I purchased my own transmission from Transtar, although he warned me what could potentially happen he still installed it for me at an affordable rate that didn’t change. He also calibrated the transmission for me so I wouldn’t have to spend additional money at the dealership for my warranty to be valid. He’s a honest man.
