Avenue O was the perfect stay for our night before our cruise! Polly and Jeff are very friendly and welcoming. They have beautiful renovated rooms in a cute historic house and a delicious breakfast. The location is just a couple blocks from the beach and all of the local restaurants. They had great recommendations. They also allowed us to park our car on their property during the run of our cruise. Jeff dropped us off and picked us up from the terminal all while giving us a run down of what to expect since this was our 1st cruise. He also told us about some of the historical sights in Galveston as we drove. Their hospitality was exceptional and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Galveston!

Stayed with these folks while I was in town for a cruise and it was a great experience! The owners are very nice, the place is clean, and the food was great! They even drove us to and from the cruise terminal

We spent our 29th Anniversary with Polly and Jeff and had the greatest time! We had both pizza and private dinner and they were both excellent! Breakfast was wonderful as well. Our suite was well appointed and the tub and shower were both great! We enjoyed every second of our getaway...except the part where I broke my leg! Leave it to me! It did not dampen our fun. We still enjoyed our stay at The Ave O and Galveston. Looking forward to next time! Thanks you 2 for an amazing stay!❤️❤️

A big thank you to Avenue O! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although we only stayed one night (overnight for a cruise, the next day), the hospitality delivered by Polly and Jeff was outstanding. We stayed in the Balinese Suite; it was charming, extremely comfortable and the walk-in shower was amazing. We also enjoyed the experience of the private dining offered by Avenue O. All we can say is WOW!!!! we opted for the Ribeye steak dinner and let me just say, Polly and Jeff know how to cook! The meal was so delicious and truly kicked off our vacation.Next morning, in true B&B fashion, breakfast was served... Again, what amazing cooking skills Polly and Jeff possess. The breakfast was so tasty and offered a great start to our embarkation day, for the cruise. Speaking of cruising, Avenue O also provides a complimentary transportation service to the port; Jeff was so gracious to individually take us to the port, despite other guests, staying at the B&B, were also heading to the port, at a later time.Overall, we are so happy we chose to stay at Avenue O. If you like the B&B experience, don't walk, run, to book your next stay at Avenue O!Thank you Polly and Jeff for welcoming us and providing such a great story to tell, and we did, about Avenue O and your gracious hospitality.

We recently stayed here prior to taking a cruise out of Galveston. It was an excellent way to start off a vacation. The hosts, Polly a Jeff are amazing people and the pride of ownership is reflected in every corner and detail of this beautiful b&b. As a side note, don't miss out on Jeff's "world famous " bacon!

I have stayed here multiple times and would highly recommend it! Not only are Polly and Jeff two of the kindest people you will meet, they truly go out of their way to accommodate. Avenue O is hands down the best Bed and Breakfast that my wife and I have visited. (Its also a favorite for my daughters as well, they love to talk to their friends about Jeff's famous bacon)

Beautiful house, wonderful hosts, amazing food. My only regret is I didn't pack a second stomach.Polly and Jeff put a lot of work into restoring this 100 year old house. The location turned out perfect for our needs. We've never stayed at a B&B before; this was a really positive experience. Jeff is really knowledgeable about the area, and happy to share a story or two. Polly can *cook*. Her breakfasts were a great motivation to get up each morning! To be fair, they both contribute to the meals and both have lots of area knowledge. Polly gave us a great tip to see dolphins and Jeff makes amazing bacon! These two put so much effort into making our stay one we would enjoy. Thank you both.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience at Avenue O! From the gorgeous historic home to the delicious homemade pizza and breakfast everything was a 10/10! They made our trip to and from the cruise port so quick and easy while also keeping our car parked at their beautiful bed and breakfast! We will definitely be back!

Most congenital hosts you could wish for. The private dinner was the best dinner in memory, including restaurants in France and Italy. Will definitely return.

When I was looking to book a hotel, Avenue O came up with great reviews. I was traveling with others and I called and spoke with Polly who was wonderful. We booked the entire house and it was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are so comfortable and the bathrooms are lovely.Since I run a travel agency I called ahead and told Polly I'd to have a charcuterie board, white wine and some local beer for our arrival as I knew we would all be hungry. She said no problem and we discussed what I would like and she would take care of it for me.We arrived hours before the check in time and Polly and Jeff already had the rooms ready and we were able to check in early. When we came down the charcuterie board and drinks were ready for us and it was delicious! You can walk to the Strand and other areas that are close by.The morning we checked out Polly and Jeff made a delicious breakfast for us....the bacon was amazing!Jeff took all our bags to the port, checked them in for us and then came and picked us all up and took us to the port. The port is about a mile from the B & B.I can't say enough about Avenue O! Being able to hang out in the main living area was wonderful and relaxing!I will be recommending you to my future clients sailing from Galveston and if we are in the area again, we will definitely book a stay! Thanks again for the hospitality!

This is such a great place to stay! Jeff and Polly are so accommodating and gracious. They’ve poured their hearts into creating an incredibly comfortable bed and breakfast. Jeff is a great resource for history in the area as well which is a bonus. The breakfast was so tasty and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Galveston.

We stayed at Avenue O for one night before departing for a cruise. We got in three hours early, Polly and Jeff were so accommodating and already had our rooms ready. Our travel agent, arranged wine, and a charcuterie board upon our arrival. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Individual air conditioning units, ensure that you are comfortable all evening long. The mattresses were fantastic, and I even asked Polly what they were so I can get one for Home. They gave us great information on where to eat dinner and how to get there. I would give Oh 100 stars if I could. You will not be disappointedRooms: Spacious and cute themed
