We came to Galveston on vacation and finally had our kids in one place for a whole day. We are a family of 6 (but 5 got cuts) and finding a place with great reviews, lots of pictures, and availability for all of us is pretty hard. We are so happy with Fantastic Sams! Peggy took care of my son and I; she was such a great listener and gave my son exactly what he had been trying to get others to give him. She asked questions and made me feel comfortable enough to let her do what was best for my face shape. I told her to surprise me and boy did she?! I love it! She probably cut off a foot and half of my hair. My daughters were cold after their hair cuts and she brought them a cape to use as a blanket. My husband brought some food in and while my hair was being colored, she even brought me a tray!
Aurora gave my two daughters a wolf cut. I honestly didn’t have high expectations because I didn’t think it would look good with their hair textures. Aurora blew me away with the way their hair turned out!! She knew exactly how to cut curly hair. Between the two girls, they have 4 different hair textures. So making a cut look good on them is not easy. She scrunched my older daughter’s hair. And Peggy gave my younger girl a blow out since she was cold.
Liz cut my husband’s hair and fixed a great clips cut that was messed up. And she did a great job with such little hair to work with!
The environment was amazing, welcoming and friendly! They really went above and beyond for our family. They were short staffed and still took amazing care of us on a short notice!

Came in for two major haircuts for my kiddos for school. We were vacationing at the time and came in on a whim. Matthew took excellent care of both of them. He was so kind, knowledgeable and took his time at listening to what they both wanted and absolutely killed it!! They both have been so happy with the experience and their new hair cuts. 👏

Wow, i guess with some people, you have to speak to them loud and slow for them to understand something super simple that you’re trying to get across. From the beginning, I told Jessica I only wanted to take off 6 inches. My hair was all the way down to my butt. After showing her a couple of examples of women with LONG hair, once again I said I wanted keep the length, but just cut it to where it’s not a straight line across. Also, I said I wanted to keep the length of my hair below the sleeves of my T-shirt. She ignored everything I said😭 All of my hair was behind me, so I couldn’t see how short she had made it until she was about halfway done. Thanks for destroying my confidence right before my birthday. 💔
