Parking can be difficult during tourist season and special events across the street because non-shopers use it to avoid paid seawall parking. They pay security to monitor the premises but I have never see them anywhere other than sitting on a stool by the checkout lanes. And they are constantly rearranging the items on the shelves so next time you go there, everything is in different aisles.

The Starbucks here wasn’t the best they wanted to charge me 3.50 cents to put ice in a cup I already had. Would not recommend going to this Starbucks.

I wish every Kroger was like this. They have everything you need. When you walk in the bakery is set up so beautifully with all types of desserts on display. They have fresh fruit bowls with tajin packets in them, fresh salads to go, super easy and helpful especially since the beach is across the street. The deli serves hot food plates. My kids loved the food, couldn’t get a pic because they tore into so fast. They also loved the chicken tenders. On Sunday they have bbq plates and soul food, 10/10. They sell water bottles and sodas for .69-$1. They have beach toys and necessities. In two days, I patronized this Kroger at least 7 times. The employees were friendly, I wish I remembered his name but it was a guy in the deli area that wears glasses. He literally greets every single person in his view.

Lines vs cashiers ratio is ridiculous. Used to love stopping here but it’s been difficult enjoying the shop in the last 2 years.

Great place to shop- always found what we needed- would be nice if more lanes were open, long lines at self serve. Our King Super card from Colorado also worked for discounts.

I stepped foot into this Kroger and was completely impressed at first sight. The deli section is full of an assortment of baked goods, salads, and sandwiches. They even have an olive bar full of a variety of olives you can add to a plate to-go. Lunch or dinner would be a delight here. The food seems fresh and of good quality. It's easy to navigate and not too crowded. You can also pick up some fresh pre-packed fruit for a healthy snack option. The aisles are clean, organized, and clearly labeled with the day's deals and coupons.
There's also a Starbucks located inside.
Everyone I've dealt with so far has been helpful, especially the attendants at the self-check-out aisle.

The digital coupons are a joke - advertised all over and seems impossible to access. Not bothering to shop there anymore.

Always busy here. You might feel cramped inside coz of the space.

I really like the store. It is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful The one thing I don’t like is clipping the digital coupons then they don’t work. Luckily I caught it 3 different times to get my money back. The excuse is they are having trouble with it. My suggestion is if you have the card you should get all discounts without needing to clip.

(KROGERS GROCERY STORE IN GALVESTON TEXAS, ON THE SEAWALL)They Accused Me Of Stealing Which I Was Not I Went To Get Help From The Security Which He Ended Up Body slamming Me I Was Rushed Out Of The Store And Arrested.I begged for help the officer Made Everyone get back because they didn't care to hear the Truth. The cashier Which was trying to help they silenced her I Really Wish I Could Have Gotten Her Name. After A few weeks I Called Pretial at The County Jail They Told Me My Charges Were Dropped Because Some Elderly People Who Saw What Happened Wrote Statments In My Defense And Kept Going To The Store Daily Making Reports They Decided To Not Put Me On A Trespassing List Saying I Could Come And Shop Freely.. That Was Hurtful And Embarrassing To Me And It Still Effects Me Mentally To The Point I'm Scared To Even Go Grocery Shopping At That Store.

Next time yall call the police on someone make sure yall are accurate. I came in and all I wanted was a calm and pleasant experience however you guys kept announcing the times until close. It was fine until your loss prevention man who obviously was very noticeably there bothering us while shopping. Then the officer who came was just staring me down the whole time even was looking at the pin pad when I entered my personal credentials. The people were rude as soon as we entered. Then the lady had the audacity to ask me while checking out “did I want the expensive steaks” lady of course I do. I do not care how much it is? Yall ever heard of not judging a book by its cover. Shame on everyone involved. Treat the people who pay your bills better.

Do you enjoy malfunctioning restrooms with soiled floors that haven't been cleaned since the middle ages? I've seen cleaner restrooms at strip clubs, renaissance festivals, and 7-Eleven's. You might as well walk into the sea and soil yourself before you even contemplate relief at this dystopian gruel market. Do yourself a favor; purchase some hand sanitizer, walk to your nearest portable restroom along the seawall, and use your receipt as toilet paper. You won't find better in Galveston.
