I wanted to take a moment to give a big shoutout to Paul and his team. I called to inquire about a special order (Safe’n’Sound insulation), and after reaching out to several companies, he was the only one who got back to me — and the only one willing to place a small order, since Home Depot and Lowe’s required a large quantity. He took my number, called me back, and kept me updated every step of the way.
There was a delay on the supplier’s side, but Paul even called me before leaving for vacation to let me know the next steps. I also worked with other members of his team, including Marcus and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately forgot — and they were all fantastic.
When it was time to pick up the order, the process was seamless. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend.

Update 10/14:
Got a working glass insert installed today. Once the McCoy's millwork people got involved, things progressed smoothly. Joel, the technician did a good job installing the new glass insert.
I'll raise my review to 4 stars. The Galveston employees need to be better communicating.
I purchased a door from McCoy's on June 18th, exterior with full light, blinds between the glass. The door was delivered on June 30th, but it had the wrong glass insert. It didn't have the blinds between the glass.
Both Colton and Phyllis at the Galveston store told me to accept delivery and they would have a technician come out and install the correct glass insert. 6 weeks later and several calls, McCoy's sent out someone with the insert. They installed it only to find out the blinds would go up and down, but would not rotate open and closed.
Again promises of fixing it were made. It's been 4 more weeks and nothing has been fixed. 2 and 1/2 months since the original install and I don't have the door I ordered and paid for. I advise using caution on special orders from the Galveston McCoy's.

Elliott was the best employee ever, he helped me find everything I needed and even gave me a few tips on how to lay the wood better to impress my wife! 100/100 recommendation that you visit this store, and ask for Elliott— I’d trust that man with my own kids, heck, I’d trust him with my wife too!

"I am extremely happy with the customer service provided by McCoy's Building Supply store in Galveston. The entire staff is amazing, and it all starts with the leadership of the store manager, "COLTON MEIMAN" also known by "The Man". We recently started a new construction project, and I was impressed with how quickly they estimated the entire job in less than a week. They also had all the materials I needed, and I never had to wait longer than the next day, even for rare materials. I believe they deserve 100 stars instead of just 5, but that's the only option here. I can't wait to start my next project, and McCoy's Building Supply in Galveston will always be my favorite store."
