Ran to the closest grocery store in an emergency run, saw the sign on the door that said cash only and poked my head in to double check just in case because the sign looked super old, and the employee super rudely asked me if I could read. This was an emergency situation and it was worth at least asking since I was bleeding and quite often stores are unaware of outdated marketing being up at times. There was no reason for the rudeness. None. If you're looking for customer service, this store is not for you.

Mr Bob is always been a great man, very friendly outgoing and funny sometimes he has his bad days but he most has his good days. I have the utmost respect for Mr Bob, if he didn't love his job he would have closed the store a long time ago. If no one appreciates the value of someone's time and devotion as Mr Bob has given then they have no appreciation to humanity. I love Mr Bob it's a great guy and he will help if he has the opportunity even to the last that deserve. You want to meet somebody that has a heart of gold as Mr Bob. Thank you Mr Bob for your time and devotion and your love and respect. And always having your door open for anything or anyone God bless you.

I went downtown last night to run around, and incidentally,( not narcing just saying) at three adjacent restaurants noone was wearing a face bib nor practicing social spacing. Oh well, it's a tourist town. In some ways it looked like a Time Warp, or at least before March. With the cathedral down the street, the old movie theatre, and ,Bob's grocery, you would think you were in any town before the 70,s. Of course,( and this is an inside dig to those who know me) the propensity of sandals and sloppiness had to ruin it. Non sequitur ; Bob's is small, but you shouldn't expect more. Place is generally clean, but limited in stock. I noticed some booze hounds were nonplussed that they couldn't find their beer.I found a half gallon of milk, which is what I wanted. Overpriced to be sure, but the place isn't a literal meat market or convenience store, so he can't be too cheap. As I left the ambience increased as a drunk woman of dubious character being loud came in, but that's kinda the area, not the store.

This dude is pretty cool! It's definitely convenience store prices and you need cash or have to use the ATM but old Bob was a super trooper! But they have pretty much whatever ya need! We picked up coffee creamer for our stay in a Bed & Breakfast. They had bottled water and plenty of snacks. Plus he has a pic of Mother Teresa hanging in the store...and John McCain! Go stop in and say hi!

Bob is a good guy! Funny too! Known him and this store I have been at for 15 years! They not only have money gram. They have EVERYTHING!!!
